Indoctrination theory is real and Shepard is the main villain?
What if?

What if blue ending is canon and we escaped from tyranny of reaper Shepard and s/he is coming after us?

what if our whole universe is just a micro-organism on somebodies cornflakes and we're just waiting for him to come back from the toilet to eat us?

I would love that.
Really? Are we working under the assumption this is your Shepard or would you still be happy if it were the standard Vanderloo Shep?

^If they made clone Shep look the custom Shepard then I can't see why they won't do the same. Or do what they did in DAI and just put up a CC for Hawke.

What if everything past the into to ME2 was an AI simulation, just a potential scenario inside the Reapers' "brain" and the Reapers actually just indoctrinated and harvested everyone as smoothly as they usually do?
What if red ending took out all virtual intelligence as well as all artificial intelligence, and any person with any tech inside of them, like heart monitors or artificial organs?

I would burn the place down .... ![]()
I tired that Bioware always take "our" heroes and make horrible things with them, not only at the ending of the game, but also in the following games.
Nah Shepard is still in Project Lazarus he/she is in a coma dreaming of all this stuff that happened in ME2 and ME3.
Than she / he wake up and ... is with Bobby under the shover.
Help ....

What would those scenarios make ME:A to be about though? Would crew have escaped before those things happened?

I would love that, but I doubt it'll happen. I mean, it's a fantastic idea, but why then the move to Andromeda?

I don't know. I was actually just picking random hypotheticals to illustrate how odd I find the premise of this thread. If OP has a point, I'm not seeing it.

If they chose a canon ending, it would be unreasonable to expect it to be my Shepard.Really? Are we working under the assumption this is your Shepard or would you still be happy if it were the standard Vanderloo Shep?
My Shepard might have done different things. But this game is set in a reality where that didn't necessarily occur.

I'm not actually against the point myself ![]()
But maybe that's, because I have been already developing headcanon in my head that blue Shepards turns into tyrant and Normandy crew needs to try to bring her down..

Not gonna happen, but that would totally redeem the whole thing. xD

But what is the point? There's no answer to this question. It just rehashes the same old debate.

I can see it though. The N7 from the trailer is the indoctrinated Shepard, following the exiles to Andromeda onboard his badass human Reaper. He's wiped out civilization in the Milky Way, and is hunting Andromeda to finish the job.
Not gonna happen, but that would totally redeem the whole thing. xD

I thought the reapers were the good guys. The Catalyst said they were preventing a galaxy-wide catastrophe by wiping out advanced organic life in the galaxy by using synthetics to prevent the advanced organics from creating synthetics that would wipe out all organic life. It was only through their benevolence of sparing the less advanced species each cycle that our cycle got to advance at all. Shepard was trying to stop them from succeeding. Therefore Shepard was the villain. Now if destroy is the canon, our children will create synthetics and the chaos will begin again and soon all organic life in the galaxy will be wiped out. The only way that Shepard is not the villain is if she chooses Synthesis, which is what the Catalyst considers the ideal solution.
