I've thought of a couple more possibilities.

  • More voice choices for the player character would be nice. I liked the British female voice, but the American one sounded too deep for me. Also, perhaps make them unique to each race (for example, most Dalish elves have that particular accent, but my Dalish inquisitor didn't sound like any of them). Maybe two or three voices per race? Or perhaps one unique voice option per race with a couple universal voices. That way our characters can sound like they are from a place or group of our choosing (i.e. a Dalish elf that actually sounds Dalish).
  • Bring back multiplayer and perhaps expand upon it. While I am not too keen on PvP myself, I know other people would enjoy it. One way you could help flesh out the lore and story for both sides (i.e. Solas and the player character) would be to create mutliplayer battles (whether players versus players and/or ai opponents) would be to create two sides, or teams. One side would be agents of Fen'Harel and the other would be part of the protagonist's force (like the current multiplayer). They each can complete mission objectives and battles.
  • Maybe there could be some mini dlc's or side quests/chapters (whether part of the main game, or as a bonus outside of it) where you take on the part of side characters (like scout Harding) or companions (like Dorian, for exemple) and play through a little story that serves to further flesh out their character as well as adding a spot of fun and silliness. Make some goofy problem or task that they seek to complete. While the player may not have conversation and story choices like they would with their player character, this would be a fun way to flesh out the relationship between companions and other npcs (i.e. how other companions speak, treat, and react to Dorian). The chosen character could monologue throughout it as well.

- I would really like to have the if>then Tactics system. The lack of it is the biggest flaw in Inquisition, as far as I'm concerned

Yep, the biggest flaw in DAI in my opinion, I hope to see DA2 custom tactics return. That's my no. 1 suggestion.

(I also agree with the rest of your post that I left out, +1 Andraste_Reborn)

I agree with Eivuwan, about solas and inquisitor, story feels very incomplete. Their could be new people to add, but feel the inquisitor should be main toon again. I loved everything about Da:I. Better hair would be nice

Something small that I thought about earlier was including a Wicked Grace or Diamondback minigame. You could play against your companions/other NPCs (and possibly even other players) and bet using either gold or items. If you bet a rare greatsword, the NPC would bet something of similar value, etc.

The tactics system from Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 was the best thing about the series, please bring it back.

I'd like to see Shale return as a companion her support abilities were amazing in Dragon Age Origins.

I'm probably in the minority when I say I would like to see more of the Deep Roads, especially the Legion of the Dead.

I would like to see more of the Avvar. And the darkspawn too, that was probably my favorite part of Descent.

More Specializations for the classes or maybe even something similar to Skyrim/Witcher/Fable where your main character (except dwarf) can train in all 3 disciplines (Warrior/Rogue/Mage). Arcane Warrior/Battle Mage were the awesome and I was disappointed when we did not see them return, KE isn't the same.

Better armor customization, some of the designs in DA: I are terrible while others are amazing, however i cant use them because they are not level appropriate.

Okay...I know I've gotten behind a lot, but I'll be updating this either today or tomorrow.  I'm still trying to find a way to embed polls, but I don't think it's actually going to be possible.  I'm going to look into other ways to make it easy and convenient to vote on ideas.  Hopefully I'll find something soon.

This is what I'd like to see:

  • bring DA2 tactis back, or at least allow us to opt between overly simplified DAI wannabe tatics or DA2 nicely done tactics
  • bring auto attack back
  • working party banters
  • return Friendship/Rivalry mechanic from DA2
  • keep crafting system but, as United Servo Academy Choir said, remove tiered schematics. Tie the quality of the gear you make directly to the quality of the material
  • keep the war table (really enjoying it) but remove the timers for missions. Or, at the very least, do not "fix" the change-your-system-time bypass
  • keep the exploration (what can I say, I do love to walk up and down)
  • more specs + more skills slots - I still can't believe I have only 8 skill slots available
  • bring the heal spell back
  • better hairstyles
  • mod support. I don't buy this Frostbyte-engine-does-not-allow-it thing. Fans made it possible, how come devs can't?
  • if possible, let us name our saves. I miss it a lot, altgough I suspect it's only me :D

And this

- the ability to be as hilariously inappropriate as Purple!Hawke. ("At least things can't get worse! Today, anyway. I mean, it's pretty late ...")

I wonder if someone at BW will ever read this thread

Story-Choices

I'd like it if companions could die by our choices. Some of the most emotional moments in Bioware games are when I got my companions killed, either because of bad choices (Kaidan, I love you, I cried, I'm sorry!) or too much disagreements (Sacred Ashes defiling, too much mage/Templar support, Zevran betrayal) or anything else. It adds a lot of weight to choices when you know you might be sending someone to their death, instead of knowing "We're the heroes! We can't die or lose!" and that is the feeling I got in DAI. We're told the world is in terrible danger, but I felt a constant sense of security. I want to feel threatened.

An option to be evil/a bad guy/a jerk. Please don't forget it is a role playing game, inquisitor was awfully boring.
