Hmmm, maybe she might have the soul of Anaris? Maybe even Ghilan'nan since it seems as if she and Sera will get along really well

Sure, you can leave, if you manage to avoid re-education. But I really don't believe the Qunari tolerate someone whose attitude is basically "oh, I don't know how long I'm going to be part of the Qun, maybe I'll leave someday".
Edit. Granted, it was easier for Tallis to have this attitude and not have it rooted out since she was living in Southern Thedas in the webseries (I think?), but it still annoys me.
But it's still possible. Hell, one of the character of dai did it.

1. It was not really a weak argument.
2. That was still a try.
Hmm, I guess we might as well agree to disagree on that one. I'm not likely to be convinced that Hawke acted like anything other than a lump.

She reminds me a little of Iron Bull in that respect. He often talked in favour of the Qun, while seeming happy to be away from it and not wanting it to spread. Maybe the longer a Qunari is away from Par Vollen/Seheron, the more the doubts sink in. Even Sten bent his philosophy slightly by the end of DAO.
It makes me wonder if Tallis believed in it more strongly when she was surrounded by Qunari, or whether she's never been entirely convinced by the Qun. Half the time in MotA, I felt like she was trying to convince herself.
I feel we're due an outright rebel from the Qun. I mean we've had Sten, and for a brief period Tallis, who were loyal, and Iron Bull who was kinda ambivalent. I want someone who really hates them.
I'd really like that too. I'm hoping that we meet a range of characters from a Qunari-style background. From devoted-to-the-Qun to Tal Vashoth. But with the Tal Vashoth on the actual team, since we haven't had one yet.

Nope. Only way I care to see Tallis again is if she shows up briefly long enough for us to see that shes been "re-educated". She was always a walking contradiction that I hated.
Tallis : Oh I love the Qun! I just don't actually follow any of its rules and they never bothered to re-educate me like they do everyone else.
What if you could kill her or make it sure she dies?

Sorry but you, as Hawke, can point out her argument is hypocritical and contradictory to how she applies the qun and how the qun is applied. And then the rest of the team via banter pick wholes out of her argument.
...How in dear lord is Hawkes argument weak?
Do I have to post the conversation to point this out?

*continues to sharpen sharp implements* I hated her and never want to see her again. She reminded me of the kind of Mary-Sue author inserts from teen-written fanfics. That's not to say I wouldn't want viddathari as prominent characters, just not her.
But she's not a mary sue.

She's a black hole sue, which is even worse.

Wait, wait! Before you start throwing sharp implements at me, I'd like to explain why I hope she's in DA4.
I know plenty of people disliked something about her in MotA. Personally, I wasn't a fan of how Hawke acted around her: unable to debate about the Qun (especially as a mage), and unable to even try and take the scroll. That doesn't mean that her character and role can't be improved in DA4. Look at Merrill, Isabela and Cullen, they were greatly improved after being brought back.
Wha? Merril was brought back?? Where? Or its in multiplayer??

Merril first came about as a side character in the Dalish warden origin. She was brought back in da2.

She preaches some more and makes the entire group a group of idiots.
Each time you tell her she's wrong, she'll just lash at you, reminding you how your society sucks. And even if you have something to say about it, she'll dismiss it with a stupid joke, while you sit there like an idiot and just frown at her.

That's not a mary sue. If everyone in the cast tell them they are wrong then that person is not a mary sue. Sorry, but the entire team tell you she's wrong and she act's like a stubborn idiot. that's not a mary sue.
A marry sue is made to be right all the time and agreed with everyone.

I said a black hole sue, not mary sue. Even so, people can tell a mary sue she's wrong, and it's her duty to make them look like idiots, Basically, what happens in the game.
In the end, she gets to be awesome and the rest dumb as a brick.

But She doesn't. The team takes the time to pick at her and never stop.

What game have you played? Because she always has the last word, even Varric doesn't have some smart comeback.
She shuts everyone up. And she also takes her list while you sit there like a doormat.

Last word means nothing. If you're proven wrong..you're wrong.

After the battle he said "You dont expect me to let you leave", she answered "I dont expect nothing more from you", throw me a jewel and leave. That was beyond ridiculous, I dont think I was ever frustated like I was at the ending of MotA (I even choose "Did not her Tallis in the keep, this way my Hawke never helped her and looked like an idiot).
I dont ever want to see her again, if I see her again I want to kill her.

Tallis returning would be my worst nightmare really. She was really insufferable. There are many people with ties to Tevinter in the lore- I would rather have Gatt returning, whose background story is basically the same, rather than being preached to by Tallis again.
