Played quite a bit of DAi MP on pc rcently without any graphic issues at all. Now, all of a sudden, I kept getting massive glitches in a match against darkspawn: both a revenant and the annoying little guys with the machine gun like salvo attack glitched out, when I got near either all kinds of messed up textures would radiate out from them to the point that my vision was completely obscurd. Just these 2 enemy types. Again, played quite a lot lately and never had any graphics issues before (plenty other bugs like endless black load screens but graphics were just fine) and it was just these 2 medels that got messed up when I got near them, they looked ok from a distance...

 

 

Anyone else got this kind of problem or knows what's causing it?

Maybe check the fan on the video card.  The card its self might be overheating.

I had the same issue in a single game a few weeks ago but it seemed to radiate from the saarebas in my group.

That's exactly it! I wonder what is causing it, i doubt overheating is an issue as the card is just a few weeks old and it happened after a relatively short time, I've played much longer sessions. Also seems strange that only one or two models would be affected. I hope it was a one time fluke.

I'm starting to have these glitches too, but for me it is not related to the Saarebas, but if I'm fighting Darkspawn, because it always happens when fighting the Stone Stalkers in Zone 4

Again a big sorry to Gya & Irthir for my headless fighting. I couldn't see a thing and only oriented me on the mini-map to fight.

Try rolling back your drivers, there was another thread about the latest nVidia ones causing glitches shortly after they were released.

Those look like graphic card driver issues.  I have never seen anything like it, but I don't ever update my graphic card driver unless I got a new game that doesn't work with the old driver.

I had the occasional issue like that for mass effect 3 mp playing on the xbox360.

While major graphics bugs are somewhat uncommon, the minor ones such as invisible enemies are a little more common. I often tell people not to leave games when they experience these bugs (unless they happen to be in narnia, but even then, there might be no need to leave). Leaving games, especially when the team is unaware that someone is not present may result in loss of exp for the team as well as for the person who is absent, and that sucks, big time.

I had to update my drivers to play the battlefront beta and then started getting some weird issues with DAIMP so I rolled back after the beta ended. Might make things awkward next month >.<

either you all have bad graphics cards or its a driver issue,

when you upgraded your drivers did you also upgrade /reinstall your audio drivers and redo the game install ?

 

I ask because whilst gfx drivers are a common cause its also not uncommon for the direct x side of things to stop working properly but normally a repair install picks up a broken link and fixes it eliminating such problems.

 

might suck for some trying to do those things though especially given the quality of internet /
