When choosing what to say when Morrigand gave me the ring, I obviously had to choose the bugged option, so didn't get the ring, but that's easly fixable, additem in the console, but also, apparently, the flag didn't trigger, I tried to import in Which Hunt the save, and use the command runscript zz_str_debug which tells me I didn't get the ring. Any way to set the flag in Origin or savefile editing?

I think there's a fix on Nexus somewhere, can't remember where.

I think I've seen something, but it's mostly adding cut out content still hidden or preventing some other bug related to the ring in the ending, not what happened to me.

According to the DA Wiki, there is another debugging console command for Witch Hunt which might be helpful:
runscript zz_str_morrigan ("Starts a script (for Witch Hunt) which can be used to set the game state for all past choices regarding Morrigan (e.g. whether you've romanced her or not, whether you accepted the ritual, if you have her ring etc.)")

Yes, but it's only for Which Hunt, I still need to finish the Origin campaign. I've just managed to install the Toolset (had to set up manually the DB), it might be the solution, but I have to "explore" the save file data to find te right flag I feel.
Edit. I'm pretty sure it's the event with ID 655, because it's on a year old save and the timestamp is of today, but it just says it happened, in each of the 2 saves I made, one in which I choose the bugged option, one the right one, so the result must be somewhere else.
Edit2. Massive cut copy of almost everything from the save in which I chose the right option to the save in which I chose the wrong one, the biggest part is too big and crashes the application with the erroe "out of memory" (and it's running on a 32GB pc and SQL 64 bit I believe (it uses SQL...)), and the script in Which Hunt says I took the ring, so now it's just a matter of finding the right flag in all the thousands of them.
Edit3. It's somewhere in between 900+ entries in SAVEGAME_PLOT_LIST...
Edit4. Found it.
If anyone needs to set the flag because of the "fine, hand it over" option bug, I did as follows.
Using the Dragon Age Toolset I loaded the savefile (the application actually crashed with a "more into the story" savefile, too big, I found a fix for this, using CFF Explorer to set the exe to support more than 2GB of RAM http://social.bioware.com/11689/blog/707/), then going to SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST>SAVEGAME_PLOT_MANAGER>SAVEGAME_PLOT_LIST>419>SAVEGAME_PLOT_FLAG1 and set it to 131104 in the '.das' file in the specific savefile folder.
I tested it importing to Which Hunt and the debug tells me I go the ring, and if I get captured Morrigan tells Eamon she knows where I am.
