In light of the Trespasser DLC and what we know now, some of these cards make a ton of sense (Especially the Iron Bull one, if you choose to sacrifice the Chargers.

It's fun if you know what Tarot cards mean
Tower= Unexpected or temporary loss of stability. But can also mean catastrophic and irreversible change (for those who may not know the meaning)
If you romanced Solas in the game, you never get the tower card. It remains the Heirophant (though, in my opinion it looks way more like The Fool card with the plant in one hand and a white canine at his side)

I usually romance him, but i have got the Tower more than once. It's still a good indication.
Hierophant= Spiritual father of the deck, a mentor or teacher. Represents kindness and a desire to conform. He is also a leader, especially of traditional values, If reversed it means delayed ambitions and kindness to the point of foolishness.

Despite the lacking romance scenes and the heartache, I think the Solas/Lavellan romance is by far the best romance story DA has offered.

The 3 of swords! Oh. that is the worst card in the deck. A disruption that will cause pain and uncertainty. Loss of balance and disharmony. EDIT: The 3 of swords also indicates betrayal, anger, hatred, jealousy and most other negative emotions. It also has to be present with other cards to show tragic death, or murder. Can also suggest heart problems

The light green sunburst graphic over them is what I thought to be a Fade rift, or the breach, Fade coming down on them. And though they are stylistically beautiful (imo), they really don't look like something good is happening to them, so highly negative Three of Swords makes perfect sense.
Your thoughts and sharing of tarot knowledge are very much appreciated!

I bought the deck of playing cards (info link below), which I believe has all of the tarot images on them. If they are all online for viewing, I don't know where.
