Just a quick question: is it me or does broadsides not place Vendetta marks on enemies sometimes... ?

I switched "bolt" for "broadsides" to do AoE vendetta, but I don't get any, which is a problem as I can't build elusive!

It seems it works as described one time out of 4...

That is because you have taken a passive (dont remember the exact name). So when you kill an enemy with vendetta, it spreads to other enemies near by.

Broadsides is one of the few Izzy abilities that neither place or remove vendetta iirc.

edit - Dont know what you are running for a build. But one of the best builds for Izzy is as follows. (in any order on your skillbar I might add)

Bolt, Spin-to-win (flashing steel?), broadsides, ambush. All the passives on the right tree.

That should give you i believe like 4 points left over to spend on what ever else you want. I suggest the unyielding passive that is behind ambush on the left tree as one of them.

Actually it does apply vendetta, but your targets have to be a certain distance away from you.

@OP never get rid of Bolt. Ever.

Ok. I was going for Bolt / Flashing Steel / Flank attack / Swashbuckle at first.

Then, I thought I could replace "Bolt" with "Broadsides" while going for "Dead men tell no tales", in order to generate Vendetta massively.

But the description of Broadsides was not clear. It said secondary targets would get Vendetta, but there was this "Vendetta distance" which was not explained.

I'll just go back to Bolt then...

I would have never figured that out. I always pre apply bolt before I use broadsides.

If you have not tried the build I mentioned. I highly suggest you do so. I have not found a better mix of abilities and passives for Izzy. And I am far from being a highly promoted player. I only have 30-50-70 for my promotions. So this build will work with all lvls of promotions.
