If you could ask a bioware employee anything pretaining to the game what would it be?

-Like why wasn't there more choice at the end of Trespasser
-Or why are there so many fetch quest
-Why couldn't I go on important war table missions
-Why isn't Scout Harding a Romance option
An so on.
So if you could ask a employee any question and it could be answered what would it be?
*****(* Cough Cough Community Manger get ppl to answer some of the question Cough Cough I'm dying*) ******
For me it would have to be why did the Alpha look to be going in a better Direction than what we got as a final product.
For example
*Why the eagle eye perspective and not the over the shoulder
* Why so little number of Cutscenes .
*Why not make conversations small cut scenes like in the Alpha
*Why can't I have a keep come under attack
*Why take away that awesome crest wood quest there was more choice in that quest that like 46% of the game. Other than war table.
* WHY THE HELL NOT PUT THE DA2 TATICS MENU IN THE GAME
* Why only 8 spell
So your turn

I'm pretty sure all of those could be answered by "we don't have infinite resources to make the game with"...

Pretty sure that a lot of those were in games they had less resources in than Inquisition.
And some were already in the Alpha you know what the game was before they changed it. So they clearly had the resources.

Features in an alpha aren't complete, that's why it's called an alpha. Takes a lot more resources to implement in a full game. Just because they show something in a trailer/demo doesn't mean its anywhere near finished. Those things are very carefully put together so you can't tell.
Other games might have had some of the features mentioned, but they also missed other things Inquisition had. Bioware made a choice on what to implement this time around. They would have included it all if they could.

"Why do you always leave me wanting more?" regarding most of their trailers and Trespasser
or
"Why do you always seem to break my heart?" ...regarding Solas.

When are you going to fix fire mine? It only does 1 damage when used at close range this patch.

I would ask:
Why so little class/race specific dialogue?
I would feel way more interested in playing different class/race, if we got more of those.

OK bud listen it wasn't in a trailer. It was pure gameplay. You can watch it it's on Youtube. Meaning it's ways mainly implemented fully they just had to kick the bugs out. Yet they choose to scrap that amazing quest and all those beautiful choices. That was there decision and I would just like to know why.

Yea there was so much potential for the elf this time around but like nothing ya know. At times I felt as if I don't even know my own history or know anything about magic. Lol

Why was the main story skimped on in favour of a more open world to explore?
- I'm assuming that was the case when they had to make cuts to the game. If not, it would be nice to know that the story, exactly as it is in the game, is the exact same story BioWare wanted to tell in it's entirety.

I know it wasn't a trailer, that's why I said demo in my post? Just because they "demo" something, doesn't mean its anywhere near a shippable state.
Anyway, if I had to ask something, I'd ask what was behind the decision to implement horses! And why they had to stop banter playing whilst on horseback.

OK...
1. Why was there not more done with the keeps.. Really seemed kinda pointless having them. They are just a glorified camp.
2. Skyhold upgrades? Pointless (other than the herb garden) waste of resources that net you nothing in return for completing them other than a minuscule amount of xp etc.
3. Why no fast travel point in the undercoft?

U definitely edited your post it was just trailer when I read and replyed.
And obviously it's not shippable but your now going off track to your original statement of how they didn't have the resources to keep the quest and the other things they said they were gonna implement yet it's pretty obvious they did.

1. I totally agree we were told we were gonna be able to upgrade our keeps to reflect our inquisition and nothing. I also would have loved for then to keep the quest where a keep comes under attack l would love have a messenger running towards me screaming inquisitor to tell me one of our keeps are under attack. And then to send soldiers to the keep to help reinforce it OMG.
2.Yea upgrades are dumb lol why can I upgrade a builder to fix all these damn holes in the walls and ceilings instead lol.
3. OMG yes like WTF. I guess they think the one close to the door is enough.

No, I didn't edit my post. It says at the bottom of the post if its been edited.... Not that it really matters...
My statement is that getting something to an alpha playable state, requires much less resources then getting to a shippable state. I'm not sure what you think has changed there? Especially when you have to do that across so many different platforms.

Why do you not have a higher focus on animation where alot of it looks unpolished even though most of it is re-cycled?(probably time constraint and understaffing/outsourcing, communication between lead animators and programmers)
Why is Sera not bi? Or just curious so i can seduce her.... Or have her seduce me.
Why are elves so weird looking?
Why dont you use your amazing soundtrack more in the game?

Dude they were backed by EA they had every resource they could need. An I said the game it's self changed not making a Alpha state game playable.
Taking out dialogue and choice doesn't get affected by last gen. There have been games that came out before that looked better than Inquisition on the Ps3 and Xbox 360 so you can't even go there.

You really think EA gave them infinite resources to make an RPG (aka one the least popular genres), even after the massive failure that was DA2? ![]()
I doubt EA gave them much of anything. I'm surprised EA is even interested in making this sort of game!

I never said they gave them infinite resources but they obviously gave them what they needed wtf.
Also it's not EA making the game it's Bioware
If they could make a Alpha playable and show it at a convention they wouldn't have if it couldn't be ported over to the other consoles. Such a massive change has a reason behind it and oh we had to port it over to the last gen consoles isn't a reason when we have games like crysis 3 on the ps3

Why can't we give cookies to Sten as a gift?
How do Orlesians recognise each other if all men wear the same outfit?
Does Sera wear any underwear at all?
Whatever happened to Hespith?
Enchantment?

Male elves are odd-looking.
I've never used the mirror in the BE more than when I was trying to tweak my 2h elf Templar.
He still looks like a spindly alien with caricature-esque long, thin arms/legs.
But I'd ask a lot of the same questions others would (Skyhold upgrades, keep attacks) and;
"Why no assassination attempts?" (If the Inq is soooo overrun with spies and so many oppose the Inq it would only be natural. Plus an attempt was made on Josie...)
"Why no other straight male Quizzy romance options?" (Cass is ok, but not remotely interested in Josie. Would've liked a female elf, dwarf to romance.)
And of course, if I can ask anything-
"how is MEA going to start?"
