A Star Trek like plot? like Voyager or something finding a planet to live on? I would like to see more quests that don't emphasize shooting so much and maybe solving things to work your way through, maybe your crew gets infected with a virus and you have to work to find a cure, or the ships computer gets infected with something. I think something like the Borg is a must, to have another version of the Geth might be hard to pull off.

There's a Shepard like character leading a group of elite squadmates through the Andromeda galaxy. While it seems like they are setting up a new home for the races fleeing the reapers, in actuality they are oppressing the native species of Andromeda.

You play as a low ranking officer who leads a group of supposed losers, punks and rapscallions who rebels against their former allies in order to protect Andromeda from tyranny.

Just a guess.

In the spring of the 119th season, there occurred an incident called the Spring Snow Incident (春雪異変). In the hidden realm of Gensokyo, people relax and bask in the calm of a winter without end. Spring showed no sign of arriving even though it's already May, and in fact the snowstorms were continually getting worse. The three heroines, each for their own reasons, set out to do something about the extended winter.

I'd imagine the first bits of the plot will involve exploring and colonizing the new territories. Somewhere down the line we discover a dark history behind Andromeda, ancient bad guys, and we have to put a stop to it. 

 

I'll be surprised if that ain't it.

I'm guessing it is along the Asari " contingency plan" spectrum.....we (the hero) lead a "Noah's Ark" flotilla to Andromeda where we then begin exploring for suitable colony sites....this spot having been selected by the Asaris since they had access to Prothean data long before others. Once there, we encounter "the baddies" that we must unite with other indigenous peoples to counter.

Ending being....we have created colonies, stabilized the region, and then discover we have defeated the Reapers....lead in to A:2 (Andromeda 2)

Probably going to involve an arms race against the enemy of the game, the Khet in acquiring an ancient super weapon from the forebearer race in the Andromeda Galaxy.

All we can be sure of is that there will be a world/galaxy-eating threat, and we (the player) are going to have to stop it. Rule #1 at Bioware.

And it will turn out that there is no super weapon, just bread crumps in the forest. Everyone was running around killing each other for nothing. Such immersional butthurt it will be.

Sadly players will not realize that real winner is the one who banged more aliens and it's not khet.
