Get to Andromeda.
Discover the Remnants.
Fight Khets.
Stabilish some colonies.
Discover more things about the Remnants while fighting the Khets.
Discover more things about the Remnants while fighting the Khets. Again.
Discover more things about the Remnants while fighting the Khets. One more time.
Fight a high-rank Khet and discover some dire truth and the Khets arent the real bad guys.
And in between the Main Story missions you will get some loyalty type quests and you can bang a hot alien/human in the mean time.
Yet another ancient evil that only humanity can stop. ![]()
I'm guessing it is along the Asari " contingency plan" spectrum.....we (the hero) lead a "Noah's Ark" flotilla to Andromeda where we then begin exploring for suitable colony sites....this spot having been selected by the Asaris since they had access to Prothean data long before others. Once there, we encounter "the baddies" that we must unite with other indigenous peoples to counter.
I'm thinking along the same lines but I think the "baddies" have to interfere with our Ark mission first in order to give relevance to the plot: after all, we are in Andromeda to establish a new home for humanity, not to fight bad guys. So the bad guys attack first and forces us to get involved into the power struggles that exist in Andromeda.
I'd be very surprised if the Reapers were to make a come back as the main villains in the new game/series. New threats, new challenges, and the journey of how we go from a nobody to a hero while making alliances and establishing a foothold in the Andromeda galaxy.
I think the story will be something like this:
As it became clear that the Reapers might actually win the war - or perhaps because nobody knew at the time whether the crucible was going to work or not - the N7 Program launched a mission (one of many N7 missions at the time (http://masseffect.wi...i/N7_Operations)) to explore alternatives - that being the colonization of a new galaxy (Andromeda)
We are cast into the role of one of those N7 operatives who were sent out and are now in the Andromeda Galaxy.
An alternative is that we take the role of Stargazer's child.
