Solas has a huge fight ahead of him...his task is basically impossible and saving him from himself will be a miracle.

  • Entities like Gelduaran are already sneaking around in the world, and will not appreciate being destroyed.

  • Solas will also have to face powerful people like Morrigu who certainly will not sit idle and wait to die

  • Flemeth had been plotting in the world for thousands of years...I doubt she made all that effort to see it destroyed. - Which is why I cannot understand her giving him the power he needed.

The greatest punishment for Solas will come when the elves he is trying to save start betraying him.

I don't think that Flemeth is still alive. Looks like her only goal was to give all her power to Solas, so she just waited for him all these years, saving up power.

Gelduaran is one of those elven "gods" that were sealed by Solas in the first place. He will have to fight them, yeah, but not before the Veil will be destroyed. So it will be too late by then.

According to datamined information from Inquisition, Flemeth's goal was to pass her godhood onto Morrigan, a plan Morrigan mistook for possession. That may be what she was doing with the eluvian before she talked to Solas. That could change though, there's no guarantee that Bioware plans that weren't even mentioned in the base game will stay the same between games (for instance, one theory was that Hawke was originally intended to be the Inquisitor, with DA2 their origin story, a significant difference if true).

Geldauran is one of the Forbidden Ones, enemies of the Evanuris. He's probably not locked up with Andruil and the rest of the them.

I believe there is a legend about the Dread Wolf betraying both "good" and "evil" elven gods, not just the "good" ones.

The Forbidden Ones were banished by the evanuris to the further reaches of the Fade before the Veil went up, so they would probably not have any objection to being able to move around freely again and getting even with the elven gods.   I certainly don't think they would try and stop him carrying out his plan.    Imshael seemed to be happy to know that Fen'Harel was active again (in Masked Empire) and about to do something big.

Forgotten Ones, Forbidden Ones are Imshael, Xebenkeck, Gaxkang and Formless One
