Where are they EA?
No seriously why havent they released sales numbers already. Is it the reason i think it is?

1.14 million in the first week, and "most successful launch" for a Bioware game.
They haven't said anything since then...

Nice choice of wording their EA.
Well if it was their most successful launch I think we can conclude that its a pretty high number of sales, and they will probably keep making games in the series.
Enough for 3 long DLC's and a sequel.
If DA2 got a sequel even with its expansion cancelled, DA:I will easily get one. Okay?
Enough for 10 patches, three SP dlcs (Jaws of Hakkon being pretty big and Trespasser having alot of dialog, items and new skill upgrades), two free mp dlcs, one free dlc and two equipment dlcs (which should have been free but I won't get into that).
DA2 support was cut and thus planned expac was cancelled, this was not the case for DAI. DAI was a finance success, with a love it, hate it or it's ok mentality from gamers. It was not a flop like DA2.
Won't get a sequel, it is official.

No.

I think we'll get a sequel but it technically hasn't been announced or confirmed.

Not greenlit means they are working on other things. DA4 will happen no doubt, just not right away.

Uhuh. Did magical gnomes impart this information to you, by any chance?
No, it means they have not yet submitted their proposal. Not greenlit means they are working on other things.

They're working on DA4 right now (the core team isn't working on anything else), and when they're ready, they'll pitch it to whoever. It will be approved, and production will start sometime thereafter.
It's always possible they'll run out of ideas, or they'll all decide to quit and move somewhere tropical, but if DA4 doesn't happen, it won't have anything to do with Inquisition sales numbers.
I know. That's why I said they are working on other things. They haven't submitted anything if they are focused on their new projects. DA4 is being worked on most likely between other things, but not the current focus.
I doubt that. They had 5 games set up and we only have 3, unless something changed? Hopefully not!

I was talking about promoting the new ME. ![]()
Won't get a sequel, it is official.
Oh really and where did you get this top secret info from?
I was talking about promoting the new ME.
ME has its own team.

ME has its own team.
Not the team thing. I guess we do it differently where I work, but if you are trying to get people to buy a new title you don't hype up a game not ready to go yet, making people anxious and focus on that and forget about the new one coming out.

Oh I have no doubt DA4 is in development, but right now I would think they would focus on the marketing of their other games and when ready, they will present their new work and then it will be greenlit and announced.

Source?
DAI has had its time in the spotlight, it's MEA's turn now. Meanwhile the remaining core members of the DA team get the next one mapped out. Submit a proposal and quietly start working on the next one.

Indeed it is. General Motors outsold them. GM sold 9.9 million vehicles in 2014. Bioware knew they could not top that with sales of Dragon Age: Inquisition, so they opted instead not to release sales totals. I assume that is the reason you were thinking of, yes?
We probably won't know it's been greenlit until the game is either leaked or revealed... in a long time. It isn't something they announce, and I would bet they might lie about it too.
