Agreed. She is my favourite romance of all time.
Another great thing is that during the main game it sort of drags out over time.. Where as Cassandra's (the only other one I've done) sort of stops after the romance locks in. Mind you it has positives of its own.. It centres around courting Cassandra during all of those cutscenes (Varrics book, etc) and the romance quest has a lot more depth than Sera's. Although, Sera's is more about fun where as Cassandra's is cheesy romance to the Max.
Agreed here. I am working on trying to romance her twice lol. Sadly Since I won't be able to get the TRESPASSER DLC due to BIOWARE and XBOX 360 reasons I can't see the full results of the romance. It's ok though. Even by itself i was happy with how she sees your fem Inquisitor. However it seems like your fem qunari is an easy prey to her desire though. Lol.
She used to annoy me, but over time she grows on you.
I never felt that way. Me personally I have a short temper so I see a-lot of myself in her. Honestly because of this this made her my very first person to romance.
I tend to think that Solas is just trying to bring out some latent thing that all elves possess- like a natural connection to the Fade that goes beyond magic. Whatever it is that lets them see the colors in the Crossroad is dormant in them in the more mundane world. I think Trespasser is the first time she actually moves past her fear/refusal to accept and starts to empathize.
Also, I love Sera so much. I'm itching to romance her, but I'm saving it for last because I have a feeling it might be The One that will make me want to never romance anyone else. Even as a friend, her stuff in Trespasser is fantastic. I wish they'd use journals and correspondence to this effect more often in these games- it seems like a really budget-friendly way to include more content and really shade in characters and their relationships.
I'm still not a big fan of Solas personally. He alienates his own kind out of selfish reasons and questions your desicions if you keep the wardens and side with the templars. A-lot of the conversations I feel you have with him always reak of alterior plans (which I didn't pick up until future playthroughs. biggest example: "I am a apostate after all".....sure....). However I do intend on romancing him at some point.
Of all the ones I have tried so far (Dorian, Sera, Cassandra) so far I felt Sera was the best. It felt pretty meaningful. I think maybe part of it was of some decisions I made (Cassandra divine) so maybe that's why I felt Cassandras came a wee bit meh.
Honestly, Sera is dead even with Liara for best romance out of all BioWare games, for me! Going to be hard to top those two going forward.
Liara's wasn't half bad I do agree but ME wise I say Ashley. I felt my Male shepards had a-lot of history together so I felt that's why hers was great....even despite shagging Miranda in 2...Ok I was a bit of a punk there with Feirjis....Lol. Liaera I see as a great friend though.
