So, in the epilogue I got, it mentioned elves all over are disappearing. What happened to Zevran, Fenris and Merrill?
Post Trespasser DLC: If the elves are vanishing, what about our past companions/LIs?

It said "elven servants" were disappearing. Neither Zevran (crow), Fenris (absolutely not!) and Merrill (First) are servants.

Some elves are vanishing on large numbers, not all of them. Even half would be huge, but still leave a lot behind. I wonder who's going to scrub the floors if Solas succeeds.

Plus Zevran and Fenris aren't dumb enough to think Solas is their savior...and I hope Merrill isn't either.
I don't see why would Merrill think Fen'Harel is her savior. Besides, she's taking care of the elves who were left homeless by the war during Inquisition, and she's possibly serving as their hahren once Varric takes the reigns as Viscount.

Zev is either busy causing the crows hell or with the warden. Fenris no matter what would ever go to Solas, he hates the dalish with a burning passion. Merrill is busy helping elves and I really doubt she would bet hat stupid to fall for this.
So no, none of them are going to Solas (thankfully)

It does not state all elves, although I imagine a number of Solas' followers will be Inquisition veterans from the war against Corypheus. Elves are a permanent underclass in Thedas, which is why many run off to the Qun. In Solas many would see a chance to reclaim their identity, especially those with a grudge against humans or who are simply discontent. The elves following Solas will be die hard supporters, in short the Scoia'tael from Witcher but led by a demi-god. They don't just want to establish an elven kingdom, as that failed spectacularly in the Dales. In their eyes Solas offers the only way forward: the destruction of the current world order in order to take what they see as theirs.

Except that's not what the Scoia'tael do.

looks like we'll have to kill Merrill, Zevran, Fenris, and others if we haven't killed them all already

Precisely how does the Scoia'tael comparison fall flat? Solas' elves seem sedate at the moment but just one flipped switch and they'll act as ruthlessly as their cross-game kin. They want to destroy the world, do you think they will not flinch from acts of terrorism? There are already some Dalish clans who already attack humans almost on sight, and the violence to come will make that pale by comparison.
I would never take a bet that relied on Merrill being smart enough to stay out of trouble, like ever.
I hope that Merril tries to rally elves against Solas. Indeed, I imagine not a few Dalish will be disinclined off the bat to work for the Dread Wolf himself although many will flock to his banner if he says he works with Mythal.

What of elven Wardens, I wonder?
Unless they got the memo and signed on the dotted line then they are unlikely to be affected. This is not the Calling, this is a coordinated effort by a group of fanatics following Solas. Now that he has revealed his hand they will take his side. The spy network set up by Briala in Orlais will likely pale by comparison to what the Dread Wolf can bring to bear.

Because they don't want to destroy the world. At worst, they just want to kill humans, at best (bands like Iorveths) want a land that is free to everyone and does not treat people like ****.

They signed up to stop the blight from destroying the world, IDK if they'd sign up with someone else who wants to do it albeit without the blight.

Zevran don't give two hoods about elven glory. Fenris won't follow a mage who wants to tear down the Veil and bring demons into this world. And Merrill has too much compassion to entertain the thought of bringing death on many innocents, even if it means restoring the elven kingdom.

At their worst the Scoia'tael can be pretty ruthless, indeed they are infamous for the havoc they have at times caused. However this was an idle comparison, I did not mean to draw stringent parallels. It was their ruthlessness I was referring too, not their endgame goals. When you think of Dragon Age elves I am sure the image of an imminent threat is not immediately conjectured. The next game should change that perception - along with their malformed body models and limp shoulders.
Whatever Solas and his followers are up to I am sure it will be unique.

What I wonder, though, is do these elves know that destruction of the world is the master plan? Or do they just think it's an uprising and chance for sovereignty?
Did they read the fine print?
And with Solas releasing the Evanuris with a "I'll take care of them." What does that mean? The elves did not have it so good at all when the Evanuris were swaggering about. They were slaves then, too.
The Evanuris are pretty powerful mages. What is Solas gonna do to keep them from taking back the whole thing themselves?
Ack.

And can they leave if they decide they don;t want to be a part of this?
Ack, again. The whole thing gives me the willies. It reminds me of one of those creepy doomsday cults. The ones that actively try to provoke the end of the world, or mass destruction to make way for the new, better version....where they're in charge, ofc.
And if that does not work, they kill themselves, voluntarily, or not, so they can embrace a new world in spirit form. ![]()

Zevran is busying slaughtering crows.
Fenris is busying hunting for a hawk that travelled north.
Merrill though... she would probably follow Solas if she knew that he was going to restore the ancient elvhen.

Indeed. Zevran's a sly SOB, and is way too canny to buy whatever Solas is selling. Fenris obviously won't join up; Solas is a mage, after all, and while Merrill seeks to improve her people's lot, she'd never be so callous or cruel to accept the Dread Wolf going all Khmer Rouge on the fabric of reality. She wants to help her people, not destroy anyone else's, and has never sought to deliberately harm anyone in the service of that goal. Solas' ambitions would be a step too far for her, so there's no way she'd ever join him.
