Is it where Caradin got the Anvil of the Void?

There's an interesting thought, that the Anvil of the Void has some tie to the Void of human and elven legend. The Void that supposedly drove Andruil mad.

The construction of golems with the Anvil involves sealing them in with lots of lyrium. The procedure seems to make both golems and Sha-Brytol incredibly strong. Maybe we've got it all backwards, and the Blight/red lyrium is there to prevent people from tapping into some aspect of pure lyrium. Red lyrium gets to wear all the cool leather jackets, but blue lyrium is dangerous too. Blue lyrium also has a song, and it also drives people mad. Maybe the Calling of red lyrium is drowning out a far more insidious, far more ancient song.

"Andruil put on armor made of the Void, and all forgot her true face" sounds more than a little like what Caridin and the Sha-Brytol did. Plus the codex also refers to the Void as "the abyss", like the Uncharted Abyss maybe?

From what I undertstand its a tad confusing, the Neromenians came out of the north bringing maker worship with them though only the northern Neromenian tribes that became the Tevinter practiced it, the southern Neromenian Tribes were animists instead. the Alamarri that split into the various southern tribal groups supposbely came out of the east somewhere from beyond whats now Orlasis not the north. Whats not clear at all is where the dark skinned people of Rivan came from.

Well, I mean, if-for example-a boatload of Americans went sailing off to new lands somewhere, they would still be considered one tribe. Especially as they arrived, and to all others that were not human--they are one tribe. The human tribe. We may be different ethnicities, but we are still one tribe.

@Azarhal: The Executors, huh? Interesting and yes, mysterious. I pulled this from a Reddit post I found by "Myusha123":

"The Executors are mysterious representatives who speak "on behalf of powers across the sea", presumably entities from beyond the Amaranthine and Boeric Oceans. They are believed to be organized and maintain a number agents and resources across Thedas, but their motivations are unknown. They use as their symbol a downward-pointed triangle with two wavy lines drawn through it.

The Inquisition first learned of the existence of the Executors in 9:41 Dragon after their symbol is discovered marked in chalk at nearly every Inquisition outpost. Archivists were unable to identify the symbol in any records, but Inquisition agent Argent claimed to recognize the it from a ledger belonging to the Comtesse de Bayard. The Inquisitor had the options of getting the reclusive Comtesse to cooperate, or setting up a decoy outpost to capture whoever is making the symbols. Either approach connected the symbol with agents who spoke of "those across the seas".

The symbols did not reappear after they were removed. Leliana eliminated the Qunari as the most obvious suspects behind the marks, and concluded that someone with ties to "those across the seas" had an interest in the Inquisition. Although Leliana wanted to investigate further, Cullen dismissed it as pointless and argued the entire affair was best forgotten so they could focus on Corypheus.

If the Inquisitor deferred to Cullen:

Three Inquisition outposts along the Nevarran border were later found abandoned, yet with no sign of a struggle or looting. A message was left in each outpost:

We hold your Inquisition in high esteem. Thedas's present troubles are great, but you have the strength to meet and conquer them. More will come. We prepare for the day and hold vigil. Do not look for your men; do not mourn them. They have given themselves of their own free will to a higher cause. On behalf of powers across the sea, The Executors

If the Inquisitor deferred to Leliana:

After Leliana followed up on leads concerning "those across the sea", a message was sent directly to the Inquisitor:

Compliments to your spymaster. She is a resourceful woman. Once she traced our agent to Caimen Brea, the match was ruled in her favor. Tell Sister Leliana to call off her dogs. Save them for Corypheus. We suspect also that she has gotten all she can from Ser Helmuth. A caterpillar on a leaf does not know there is a forest about him. You will hear no more from us. Our intention was to watch, and we have seen enough. Corypheus threatens us all, and the Inquisition is Thedas's only hope for stopping him. Remember that, for the moment, we are not your enemy. As a gesture of goodwill, we share our knowledge. May it prove valuable in your coming battle.

On behalf of powers across the sea, The Executors"

Ah, yes. Those are interesting. And from what I remember it is said that theyr were there long before the Qunari. And yet, they also have these images of horned beings within the ruins. It seems it was once a great civilization long forgotten.

Did the Qunari bust it up, or did they simply find it as ruins already?

My guess is that the images were of kossith.

Very true, it wouldn't have really mattered to the ancient elves that there was many different groups of humans with different cultures and religions and that they were coming from different directions. Espiecally given they apparently soon retreated within their own borders to isolate themselves thinking contact with the humans were causing their lifes to shorten after their contact with the Neromenian tribes.
