Is that the Tome of Koslun?

Nope.

Must be "Knitting & crocheting for dummies"© Sister Miriam from Highever

Yeah, I also thought it was a copy of the Tome of Koslun. The Ben-Hassrath fall under the role of priesthood, after all. Still, carrying a copy of the Tome in a spot where it's likely to be damaged strikes me as a bit sacrilegious.

It MIGHT have been damaged had she actually stuck around to fight.  Ran away every chance she could and ONLY took a shot when her opponents back was turned.  Maybe she only kept it around to read and revive her allies? :P

You mean other people don't wear heavy tomes strapped to their shoulders as they race into battle..?

Now I feel like a weirdo. :(

A book on one's arm isn't nearly as, erm, cheesy as, I don't know, say, a cheese-wheel shield and hamhock club...

No, I kinda prefer a book on my arm to that... Makes me look literate rather than just hungry.

LMAO he's missing the Ardent Blossom helm!

Seriously, they give us ridiculous armors or weapons like these and can't give us any of those nice Qunari armors! SMH

I think it's pretty clearly a copy of the Tome of Koslun. It seems like something a qunari priest would want with them while jumping through magical mirrors- there might be a sense of "protection" from the unknown, and if they end up in someplace completely removed from Thedas, she can still spread the Qun to whomever she might meet.

Only at my laziest would I assume it to be BW being too influenced by j/krpgs.

You did not notice the style change from DAO to DA2?

I am not saying it's the end of the world, but they absolutely do take the occasional design cue/influence from eastern rpgs / anime.   To me these things look really out of place and is a bit of a bummer for immersion.

Just because it makes sense what book it is, doesn't make it any less ridiculous looking.

Is that the Tome of Koslun?

There's bound to be more than a single copy, at least by now; right?

The Arishok must have made it mandatory for all Vidasalla to wear a copy of the Tome of Koslun in their armor before he was executed.

He must've been traumatised after losing it twice to Isabela.

I like the book on her shoulder. It's something "new". Looks strange a bit, but I thing it's a great idea.

I think the rope armor on the arm looks more uncomfortable than the book.

I imagine those masks and chains the saarebas wear are even more uncomfortable. Doesn't change the fact they have to wear them.

She should have wrapped the book on top of her head. Better balance than on a shoulder.

Well, Bull had to get his fascination with ropework from somewhere.
