The soundtrack I like, but most of the game felt silent.

Can we get that DA fantasy music, especially for fights, it pumps up the battles.

You could download the music. You can probably find a link to it on the dragon age website. Just play the music whilst you play the game.

I agree, and so do many others. DA:I has an amazing soundtrack, it just needs to play more. I'm too drained from posting long responses to say more right now, but I have a lot to say about it. Ha, I feel like I have a word-budget

A lot of the soundtrack isn't on the official soundtrack, ironically enough. And it's mostly combat tracks that are missing. Then of course, then haven't released the OSTs for Descent or Trespasser. It's really weird. They know we love them, and they released ME3's DLC soundtracks for free.

Playing music while you play doesn't really work too well since it doesn't know when to transition from exploration to combat and vice versa.

I'm Trespasser, it felt like they had a music piece they really liked, but then just wanted to abuse the **** out of it. There were several times, including the ending where I was just like "can someone turn off this annoyingly loud and distracting music please?"

I can only hear so many pieces of heavily marked beats with war drums before it sounds distressing, and I can only hear an emotional violin melody so many times in a row before it loses its impact.

Inquisition has nice music, but at times it felt near pornographic in how Bioware decided to use it.

The sound design for this game is horrendous, which is a shame because the music itself is great.

The music is okay but I've always felt that DAI's soundtrack sounded too generic. As in, it sounded like every fantasy movie/game soundtrack ever made. The ones made by Inon Zur was so much more iconic and unique. I still hum to most of the music from DA Origins (the camp music, and Darkspawn battle theme) and DA2 (friggin Destiny!).

So back on to topic, yeah, DAI could have used more music during travelling and fights.

Agreed with the posts above ^^^

Also, I too prefer Inon's work over that of Moris. But for whatever reason they decided to bring someone new on board. Trevor Morris does have some solid pieces though if just implemented better throughout the game.

Just finished listening to some of the new pieces of Inon Zur's work in Fallout 4....very, very atmospheric.

Why Bioware, whyhy did you replace Inon Zur? His music really gave the DA universe a unique identity that was so atmospheric.

I agree! I'd love to have some music while I'm roaming around, and more intense music for fights. I think Trespasser (and maybe Descent?) had more of this, but the main game didn't unfortunately.

All threads that are not about discussing lore are "why threads" buddy.
