This may be slightly off-topic for the technical support forum, but I was just wondering why the decision was made to handle extra downloaded content via a series of individual and manual download/installation processes.  While it's true that it isn't especially taxing or difficult, and the process arguably only needs to be done once per content pack per game installation, I was a bit surprised at what appears to be a step backward from the system that Bioware employed in Dragon Age: Origins.

The first time I booted Dragon Age, it prompted me to log in to my EA account, and immediately and seamlessly began downloading and installing exclusive items I'd unlocked a month or so back by playing the online Flash game.  Likewise, after registering my Digital Deluxe Edition code, the remainder of the DLC items showed as purchased and automatically installed themselves in the background.

If this level of polish and automation isn't possible (or likely) to be implemented post-launch in Mass Effect 2, it would be very useful to at least have an in-game menu option (I couldn't find one?) to view all currently installed DLC.  Even the original Mass Effect for PC (with only one available DLC pack) had a screen to view whether or not Bring Down The Sky was installed.

My query, and my two cents.

I totally agree not to mention it's even easier for people to pirate the dlc. But what can ya do against the Internet?
