Which fade touched material gives you that?
Fade Touched Snofleur, though I have yet to find any on any of my own characters. See here:

fade touched snoufleur leather.
Something for my rogue next playthrough me thinks. ![]()
Sure it works, used it on my mages
and why would you use 3 x Hidden Blades, if you could use 5 x Hidden Blades on hit
Uh, I probably would. Never had that option yet as I'm not really into farming. Which material does 5x?

Fade-Touched Plush Fustian Velvet (Hidden Blades) gives 5 x Hidden Blades
And I don't farm it, I just got it by killing Red Templars in Emprise du Lion ![]()
The only thing I farm is normal snoufleur skin to craft medium armor for mages ![]()
why? use the new war horn for your stunning needs, depending on mind blast for combos is kinda wasted. War horn stun+dispel will give you on demand combo.
- DW Rogue: Hidden Blades on hit;
- Archer Rogue/Mage: X% damage bonus if not being hit for 5 seconds;
- S&S shield: Chance to cast Pull of the Abyss on a hit (gather ALL the mobs!
)
Yes! Haha. I just crafted Elgar'nan Enaste for my archer (which has explosive arrows every shot!) with PotA so it can group all the enemies together for my explosions. And on my armour, I have Target Explodes for 75% Weapon Damage (couldn't find 100%). The results are chaotically beautiful *sheds single tear*
Aww, now I wish I had taken gif of me killing about 20 deepstalkers in one shot with chain explosions ![]()
Was that in the special Deepstalker room in The Descent? I ****** love that room.

Yeah, that was quite funny.
Any AoE capable class is such fun in there.
Irrelevant tangent, but good god do I agree with your sig.
does nobody use fade touched hardened gurn hide 30% damage bonus not hit for 5 seconds? i run that with hidden blades...i know its kinda over doing it with rogues

It sure is!
Oh, haha, thank you!
It's called variety and enjoyment. If I wanted to spam the same combos throughout the whole game, I would've picked KE or a Tempest. I've already completed my nightmare run, so I don't care about trying to hit a damage cap or anything. This isn't COD and we don't have to Bal-27 everything all-day, every day.
Good point
I like Fade Touched obsidian unlimited supply behind the deft hands locked door in Redcliffe near the inn. I grab it and the ore and the gold, leave the sigil in the box then go zone into the inn, go back to the house, grab another. I try to outfit everyone in it as early as I can. 3 Guard added per hit. Makes Cole, who takes a punishment despite Cass's attempts to hold aggro, a lot more survivable.
Weapons I vary without much of a favorite. Some kind of proc'ing effect to do more damage on hits.
Just got some fade-touched stuff from the Trials chest; Veilstrike on hit. Just thought I'd try it for the hell of it. AoE knockdown is just hilarious on an Archer. It's like you've become an artillery turret and every time it procs, it's like you've just shot a big artillery round that knocks everything over. Especially fun if it procs when there are mines exploding everywhere.
Not sure how effective it is, but it sure as hell is fun. ![]()
Most overrated masterwork is probably guard on hit. 5 guard isn't going to save squishy classes, and is now even more redundant due to new Horn of Valor.
My KE has FT Obsidian in her staff, and has more than once been the last party member standing in boss fights because of all the guard she's generated.

If you like it, use it. I don't and I won't. This is a thread on favorite masterworks, not debating them. I'm not here to step on other people's opinions on their favorite masterworks or their least favorite ones.
EDIT: this is not meant to be hostile, I just don't want to clutter the thread with debates on guard on hit's value, which will in all likelyhood derail the thread.
any fade touched item that gives guard when hit
fade touched item that has hidden blades

I put hidden blades on everything. So Velveteen (3 hits) , Ring Velvet (4 hits) and Plush Fustian Velvet (5 hits) for life. It's ridic watching some poor enemy get hit 9 or more times in a row by hidden blades and gives me all kind of giddy joy. For Dorian I like the gain 1% health on hit Snofleur masterwork so that he never dies. I did not really appreciate that until Trespasser on nightmare with those Librarians when all the rest of my party was unconscious and he just kept trucking on. Or the heal 25% damage over 10 seconds of Dawnstone. And of course FT Silverite for 5 guard on hit.

Next time you have the materials necessary try Hidden Blades on hit and the plus five guard on your mages, it works wonders as well.

Intimate knowledge of COD. Paddle signature. OH GOD ITS A CODFISH D:!
Unbowed 10%, because I have no freaking clue what it does.
FT honeycomb is my new favorite. It's a pity we don't have access to it in the main game... but I suppose it is a little over-powered.
