[mariaaargh]

this is going to make me sound like a complete numpty, but i genuinely can't figure out what i'm meant to be doing in the trial version of the game? i downloaded it purely to see how my desktop would handle it (i usually play on ps3), and i spent an hour of the six that i have running around in circles around this baffling fade section that now appears after the cutscene of being hauled out of the fade.

 

i attempted to go towards the breach, only to hit a certain point on the pathway towards it that won't let me go any further. am i missing something that stops me from progressing? i've made attempts to forge onwards through every possible direction that seems like it might be headed SOMEWHERE, to no avail. it has occurred that it might be some kind of glitch or perhaps my computer being hopeless (i wasn't holding my breath for even the trial to work very well on it), but i was wondering if anyone else had played the trial and either experienced a similar problem or had a solution.

It seems you were unlucky and run into a bug/glitch, because there's no Fade section after cutscene. After leaving the Fade the cutscene should continue, until you're outside of the Chantry with Cassandra.

ah. i had a feeling that might be it, since it seems terribly counter productive to have a section of running around the fade when you've technically just been spat back out into the temple of sacred ashes.
