Multiplayer was decent, but who doesn't play Mass Effect for its single player?
You come to a Bioware site to ask...this question?
You must be really bored.
I'm sure there's plenty of those troll people that talk sh*t and try to rile people up out there, but I honestly never met one when playing ME3's co-op or Destiny.
I'll won't settle for anything lest than ME:A as a DAI in space and a remastered & enhanced ME3MP.
Hmm usually don't terribly care if a game has MP or not don't play it myself so if had to be one or the other for me it would be SP all the way.
Tried ME3MP once, my connection was so bad I had teleporting brutes and would teleport as well into things, was more confusing than fun.
Judging how most of DAI's combat mechanics in campaign & MP are identical it looks like MP will be in the driver's seat.
There is no way the multiplayer would be so good without the story, character and the known races from the single player campaign; I loved multiplayer, I loved the combat system - I loved it even so much that I spent a lot of time in the Armax Arena in Citadel DLC. But the story from the singleplayer is the base, without it there is no point to fight that endless fight.I would need a damn good reason even to try Counter Strike.
I will never play the multiplayer.
y?
SP
I hate people so.

Then why do you post 4083 times on a public forum?
SP all the way. I don't care for Multiplayer.

That's a great question.
I definitely would go for the MP. I don't have much faith in SP being good, though I might be wrong but if they can build on what they had for ME3 MP and make it even better they would achieve a great thing.
Love your channel and videos man. I really do but I have to disagree for me BW games are all about story-telling and although sometimes they are contrived or simply not good enough I still do hope their next game is going to be better. BW games are such a niche market that if we want to enjoy a squad-based RPGish game we have no alternative at the moment. I was never a fan of MP even the celebrated ME MP so for me it's not really even a question....I know that the day I will see a BW game with more focus on the MP component rather than the SP then I know it will be the time for me to leave this company products for good.
I don't want my ME to have the destiny of Destiny. Random MP shooting with two or three lines of dialogue thrown here and there is not what I expect from a BW product.
Single Player for sure.
I did enjoy the Mass Effect 3 MP a lot but the entire storyline for the Mass Effect series is one of the best I have played and I would no dampen that for anything.
As much as I love the multiplayer feature, I buy this game firstly for the single player, multiplayer is an added bonus.
MP for me.
I have no faith in SP after the ME3 ending any way. I even refused to buy the DAI to make the statement, since the same team was working on it.
UNFORGIVEN!!!
On the other hand, if the IT will be made canon, I will forgive the team all their sins and even will buy DAI
By the way, I preordered the Witcher 3 maybe 8 months before the release, and now have both DLC preordered as well...
What made ME3:MP great though was all the RP-lite elements that bled into it from its SP RPG roots... without that it would have been just another, pretty poor, horde mode game (think UT with bots but worse).
So, even though I love ME3:MP, even though I've sunk far more than 2000 hours into the MP compared to maybe 100-ish into SP... I'd still rather the focus was primarily on a good SP game, with good combat mechanics and great characters. It provides a much more solid foundation for creating a good MP spin-off.
