Best Bioware dlc I've played in years, treat yourself, buy it. I'm trying desperately to replay it again but my characters are no-where near Doom Upon All the World. The struggle! ![]()
Trespasser worth playing?

Yes! Although I think you've gathered most of us enjoyed it!
The soundtrack alone is just amazing!

I guess you should, based on how others are praising it. I have only completed the first small part of the DLC, and I am very disappointed so far. Hopefully it will get better. But as it stands, my worldstate in the main game is not being recognized regarding who rules Orlais. Also, one of the council members has the stupidest lines of reasoning I've ever heard.
There are also a lot of off-topic "jokes" at the beginning. It starts out serious and then takes a sharp plummet into the clownish. Then serious, then non-serious, then serious.

The past ruler issue is a known bug, as it is second Toggle for Lunge and Slash option (the passive one that does not add damage). Will hopefully be fixed in next patch.

Personally found a certain plot focused on the Qunari pretty dull. Wish it had focused more on the political drama. Instead we get to see practically nothing of it.

I just finished it. Buy it. It is a necessary part of Inquisition and the Dragon Age series as a whole.
Yeah I would say that this DLC will be mandatory for DA4 in the same way that Legacy was mandatory for DAI. It concludes the game. If you cared about the purpose of the Inquisition at all then you really need to play it.

Trespasser is excellent. I would definitely recommend getting it. Great story, new skill upgrades, new items, new trials to increase difficulty and add flavour.
Brilliant DLC that finishes off the story nicely!

For me I had to have it just to see how it all panned out ,but truthfully I was underwhelmed .My group was LV27 when I finished the main game and I breezed through it with no chance of dying in retrospect I should have done it earlier maybe LV 20 it would have made it more challenging.
As I wrote in a earlier post I would have liked a different ending but that was just a selflessness on my part.
So if you want to know how it all happened and feel it may have an effect on future games then yes its a must.
You know you can turn on a challenge that makes the enemies level cap match yours right?
As for the topic. DEFNETLY buy it. But play with a female inquisitor with the british voice. The male british VO managed to be even more emotionless in this DLC, and I thought it was impossible D=
