A complete guide is available HERE.

If you haven’t had a chance to play the so fun it’s stupid Dragon Age Inquisition DLC Trespasser don’t walk, RUN to your nearest online retailer (your couch) and get to downloading! For those of us not so irresponsible with our free time, did you like the DLC? As the representative for the collective I can say unabashedly it blew our collective minds.

Did you know there is infact- a well hidden secret, a secret so hidden some would call it the easter bunny to all easter eggs.

OBVIOUS SPOILERS AHEAD

For those of us in which reading is too hard, look above to see a complete video guide for this secret Solas Ending.

Step 1 Heading to the Eleven Ruins

Early on in the game you will head to a secret shiny Eleven ruin in that ruin you have the options to explore a Castle like citadel in the final portion of the map. That structure is surrounded ENTIRELY by grass in the north most section of that grassy moil down a small there will be your first (and often missed) bit of codex.

Step 2 Go Deeper into the Deep Roads

This bit of codex is one of the more difficult ones to snag, mostly because if you miss it on your first go youCAN’T GET IT AGAIN.  As seen in the photo below this particular bit of lore goodness is snuggle in the far lower section of the Deep Roads in the lower walkway. This are will be completely submerged if you miss it the first time. Scan the place BEFORE you blow it up.

Step 3 Shattering in the Shattered Library

This should be one of the easiest to snag, especially if you are attempting to complete all of the achievements in the game. Inside the scholars retreat (the main area where you enter different mirrors to try to complete the upside down walkway) in the northern section on the second tier you find a multi layered castle like structure.

What you need to do is collect the treasure chest, which is surrounded by two levels of FIRE inside that inferno is what you need.

Step 4 The Final Piece to the Puzzle

Finally in the Darvaarad in the area BEFORE you open the siege like Vault head to the watchtown beside the fireworks display. In that tower on the top level there is a codex entry AND a self portrait of Solas. IT ALL MAKES SENSE!

Thanks for map pics! I missed the first two, but I won't miss them now on my second playthrough. :)

Thanks for the guide, but I wouldn't really call an extra dialogue option "a secret ending".

I agree.
Though I do I appreciate the work you put-in providing this info for all of us.
From what I can tell,
The only extra dialogue from Solas is "well done!"
Then he continues as normal.

Yeah, it would have been nice if he was a bit more surprised/complimentary.

I'll send him a strongly worded fax
