Replaying trespasser on one of my characters, and I got to thinking more about the areas the Eluvians bring us to. More specifically, the first area we enter through the crossroads.

We get a big sweeping view of the landscape, but it isn't like there are any landmarks that we can identify to give us a hint to where exactly we are.

However, Dorian will note the "fields and fields of stripweed" if you bring him along - and mentions that many in tevinter think it makes a delightful tea.

Now I am not going to pretend that I know what the exact growth range for stripweed is, or that this is anything other than speculation and can't really be confirmed in any way - but no other companion knows what the stuff is except for Dorian, and he has traveled further north than anyone you can bring along. Might the Eluvians have deposited us that far north?

Unrelated, but did anyone else notice the giant owl statue (usually a symbol of Andruil) in the same area? what is a monument to one of the Evanuris (possibly the most controversial one) doing in a place Fen'Harel built as a base of operations for rebellious slaves? hmmmMMMMMMMM ...

Definitely can be the case. After all, the Elven empire once spanned all of Thedas.

And an Owl is not Andruil's, it's Falon'Din, Friend of the Dead.

Interesting.....
Funny thing is,
I actually brought Dorian with me and received that dialogue but it didn't click until you just pointed it out.
Good catch!

Fehehehe. I hope this is the case. Fake mirror magic Tevinter is better than no Tevinter.

....

It seems to be a shared animal since the Codex entry "Constellation: Tenebrium" has Falon'Din stated to be represented sometimes in tales as a giant owl but the codex entry "Andruil's Messenger" has the owl as a messenger of Andruil meant to guide the People where they should hunt, raise their halla and settle and build.

Interesting, but the Elvhen mostly see owl as Falon'Din's companion, it'd seem.

This statue appears no different from those of Falon'Din.

Ah! you are correct, that was my mess-up.

I was remembering this codex entry that caused that.

OK, well, then why is one of the Evanuris' symbols at a place that was under Solas' watch? I mean, obviously it could be explained as a temple that he simply took over, but it seems odd that they would intentionally put that there and just seemingly forget about it...

You know, speaking of travel through the Eluvian. What happened to those, esp the one at the Winter Palace? Did Solas shut down the network for now, or do we have these Eluvians all over the place.

Do we know? Did I miss that--those epilogue slides did go mighty fast.

I think the Eluvians are still there and accessible to Solas. Probably explains why the Qunari were so intent on destroying them.
