So keep a random option in the selection menu? I'd still use random for most games. I'd just use it to fight something else if I kept getting the same faction. As for NM/FC, blame loot-gating.

There is random option in ME3,so when people don't have any special wishes random is good choice.No reason to remove it completely,imo.

Aye. That is a fair point. And I do blame loot gating, setting 3 sets of items from 3 different updates behind dragon was bad idea. Thank goodness we can get them from chests now. Actually getting them from chests is another question trololol. Spent over 1 million since they releases the lv 27 weapons. Don't have any.

You can already pick your dragon type and people tend to pick frost because the others are harder, but that said I still get in games that are fire and lightning. If anything it lets people pick frost if they are having issues at the level and pick other for the challenge or to get more prestige points. I see the option to choose a dragon type as a plus and think selecting factions as the same.

 

I hope they make it happen.

I think last time I played with you you had a 1st level Lego, a traditional poor scorer and I had an archer or something and you still outscored me.

I like the random option, but being able to select a faction would be nice. Also want an extra incentive to random, in me3 it was 25% exp.

Final Day's up, once again showing that on a day-by-day basis it would help diverse play to have the option to choose factions, also the option to leave a random choice as well, mayhap with bonuses to gold & xp.

 

Thanks to everyone who has been on this thread, you've all had interesting things to say & here's hoping that sometime soon we get a chance to choose our faction.

This faction must be rare indeed.

I have played against Druffy about times now. Although most of them are matches where I am soloing with low level characters or end up crashing, so I have only managed to properly enjoy and win exactly one match against it.
