So here's the conundrum, with Solas returning to full power and basically whomever is the next protagonist is going to need to be at a god tier level of magic to stand a chance at stopping the rebirth of the Elven world and the return of Evanuris. Heck if you get a funny look from Solas poof you're stone. How can anyone even match or surpass the Inquisitor while doing that would still be miles from any threat to Solas. It's going to require that the main character in the next game would have to be one of the Tevinter Magisters who walked into the Black City just to make it almost a fair fight. Although I guess I just Head Cannoned that the next main character would be a amnesia story like SWKotOR.

I can't even guess what's going to happen in the next game. We don't know how long Solas will be preparing for what to come, possibly several years. And who knows when DA4 will take place. 
I'm certain we can't even find Solas until he wants to show himself, by which time he'll be super super OP.

Yup, DA4's main character gotta be a Ancient Tevinter Magister that's been sleeping hundreds of years and wakes up with amnesia like Revan.

It's possible that we might find something to weaken him, or even trick/trap him. He was able to do the same to several people of equal strength to him. I doubt he could've taken them in a straight fight. So I guess we need to beat him at his own game.
