If there was a gear that would make it so you are more resistant or even immune to stagger would you use it over geth scanner or grenade gear?

just because if you can get staggered then you won't really have the need to worry about enemies like the geth coming out of now where trying to stagger you.

 

but the geth scanner is still good for preparing you from what may be on the other side of the wall or places u cant usually see soo i guess its just up to your play style

I don't use Geth Scanner in team games anyway, so I guess the answer is yes with an asterisk.

Possibly on non-grenades kits, in team games. I'm thinking notably about vanguards, when figthing Geth.

If it introduces a cooldown between consecutive stagger instances, then probably.

 

If it's complete immunity, then no.

If the gear also gives wall hacks, extra grenades, all around damage, sync kill immunity, maybe.  If it does all that AND moonlights as a bidet, then yes.

I rarely get staggered anymore due to geth scanner / knowing where everything is does help alot..most of the time I am getting staggered it's cuz of splash damage from the moron teammate standing right next to me.

I think it's a good idea. But fully immune would be maybe too much. Destroyer with Devistate-her mode is the only fully immune stagger setup in this game, but he has slower speeds with Devistate-her mode on. So it balances him out.

 

The Krogans & Batarians are pretty immune, all except for the Geth Prime Drone rocket stagger. If this is what you mean by fully immune, sure. But then, what if Krogans wear that gear, should they be allowed to reach Devistate-her mode levels of stagger resistance? Who knows? Only her knows.

Geth Scanner > anything else.  There is no substitute for situational awareness.  Maybe I'd use it on a Geth though.

I will add a quick two cents as well, as far as gear that isn't in the game.  There should have been something that has to do with health regen or increase.  There is shield stuff but not health.  Certain classes would benefit quite a bit.

Nope. Geth scanner lines are permanently burned into my retinas now. If an enemy isn't outlined in red I can't see it anymore.

I doesn't even need to be full stagger immunity for me, if the gear just said "Cannot get staggered by combat drone" I would use it.
