So i got really annoyed when i put all my nice equipment on blackwall, all my best crafted armor , sword and shield , and specced him to perfection he was a core member of my group. I randomly decided to go talk to him in skyhold, and he just up and left, straight out of the blue. Hawke even died to preserve his foolish easily corrupted order which i had no choice but to banish but i allowed him to stay and he just went and backstabbed me. How many of these so called nine companions are snakes? Sera turned out to be whiny as hell, Morrigan can't join you, Alistair can't come back. Where are all the good companions of old? Should of at least been allowed to execute him for talking to me like that and leaving. Another question why did Bioware let the inquisitor's member talk to him like ****? Should be a backhand conversation piece of something or an anger to put them in place. 

 

He even took all my gear with me which was really frustratingly annoying. I thought he was joking , so i checked my group and he was really gone. Just like that , it made no sense, after all the combat we have been through.Keeping a member in your active party should have some kind of reflection of how they percieve you , this just made no sense. How can someone fight and die with you and just dislike you so much.

 

Also why is there no way to see if an ally likes you or not? In mass effect there was a character like bar i remember. AND WHER ARE THE GIFTS? WHY IS DA ORIGINS STILL BETTER THAN THIS GAME OMG.  I'm pretty sure there was a way to see like/dislike in older DA's as well. So basically in any future play throughs im just going to remove blackwall immediatly i guess. I heard even iron bull is gonna betray which im not surprised hes a spy for the qun.

 

The companions are terrible though omg. KEEP SOLAS CASSANDRA VARRIC BUN THE rest

Wait, wait, wait .... you exiled the order that he idolizes, and you're surprised that he got mad and left?

 

You know, you can raise his approval pretty easily by just finding some Warden artifacts.

Did Blackwall leave due to disapproving of your actions (did you get a lot of Blackwall disapproves notices?) or did he just up and leave out of the blue?

 

If it was the latter, that may be due to his personal quest, he leaves everyone when that starts. You just have to read his note, investigate, then go to Orlais to find him again... then other stuff to actually get him back on the team again. Hint, the Grey Wardens are not really his order (at least during Inquisition).

Don't be douchy to the people you need. Not that hard. I had high approval from every companion on my first play-through. Yes, even Vivienne.

Yeah i suppose your right, i should of just kicked him out right away after i exiled the order.

As far as i know i kept him with high favor, there was a scene where he was knocking a dummy down. Then i went to talk him said one word, and he left. I said something like tell me how you really feel. Then he just left. The most annoying parts is he takes all my gear, and also that i can't even say or do anything. It autosaved for me .MY old save is not recent.

He rants at the Inquisitor for being an awful person and says he wants nothing to do with them. It's made pretty clear that he leaves for good.

 

Edit. At least, that's what happened to me when he left after the Inquisitor got Celene killed. Idk if it's different when he leaves because the Wardens were exiled.

It's just as he describes it. Blackwall whacks away at a practice dummy, the Inquisitor walks in, he tells you off for being **** and then leaves.

The system isn't really that hard. Pay attention, do their side quests and talk to them with some respect and you should be fine. I expelled the Wardens and made Blackwall become a Warden after he revealed his true identity. We're still friends and we have good words in Trespasser.

Ah, yes, "all the good companions of old". Almost all of whom try to kill you if you ****** them off sufficiently.

Leliana, Oghren, Zevran, Wynne, Fenris, Merrill, Anders, etc. The list goes on.
