I've inserted a vampire ( nw_vampire ) and a coffin ( NW_VAMPIRE_SHAD ) into one area of my module. When i kill the vampire and the Gaseous Form came out ,instead of returning in his coffin the form remained motionless.
So i tried to repeat this operation on another module where, however, the problem has not recurred.The Spectre has returned regularly in his coffin and a new vampire came out.
I haven't touched the relative scripts:
nw_c2_vampireg9 nw_c2_vampiregd
what my problem?
I don't know that much about the vampire scripts. But as a guess it sounds like you have another pleaceable with that coffin's tag in your module somewhere and the gas found that one first and could not plan a path to move there. The bioware code uses GetObjectByTag so it will find one anywhere in the module. You don't have the extra one in the test module so it finds the coffin you expect.

The way to get multiple vampires is to give each a unique tag XXX and a coffin with the unique tag XXX_SHAD.
If no coffin matches the vampire tag, the gaseous form appears but doen't move.

Do not know what is happening ,but now ,when the gaseous form came out from the vampire, heads north,ignoring the coffin.

I contacted the previous DM
He said me he had completely erased the creatures in the standard palette.
I cannot explain how he did it.
Anyway,shortly after ,he reimported all the original creatures from a pack taken from the nwnvault.
The only problem with those creatures is that their tag is written in capital letters. <- That was the problem.
Now all work fine.
