Isnt ME4 scheluded for summer 2016? woulnd that mean we would get DA 4 around 2017, which would exclude using frostbie cause it would go old ? woulnd it ?

The appearance of the Inquisitor has to be saved in code like stuff somewhere. Hopefully they'll find a way to export it. Unless there is another major engine change but I can't think that's gonna be the case. And I doubt we'll be playing the Inquisitor, Quisie might serve as catalyst and/or deliverer of plot relevant details but not the player. I also wouldn't expect them to be present all the time cuz people would be all 'MUH INQUISITOR WOULD NEVER SAY THAT!'
It is saved , you can find the code in any save file and recreate an Inquisitor manually at least , you get number for every sliders used etc...
But anyway those numbers don't mean anything if they don't give you the exact same character creator you find in DAI , same presets , etc..

I have a feeling that this is something that only PC players have for. In which case I might go back to being jealous.

Don't know how it works on console.
I did recreate my Inqui with the number found on save files and it was a bit of a pain. You have stuff like nose height X= 0.5 Y= -0.8 etc..,
But if I remember correctly you could import Shepard on consoles via save files no?
It should be the same.

Yeah but they gave you a nice face code to use in the game and all that stuff was automatic.

Did you have to use the face code between ME2/ME3?I can't remember to be honest.
But anyway it could be possible in theory to import the Inqui face .
But like I said , they would need to reuse DAI character creator , and also well some import features.
It's not a code you find in DAI save files it's more a complicated wall of text , I'm not sure you can store that in the Keep.

I wouldn't expect DA4 until 2018. In Fall of 2016 they hope to launch Mass Effect: Andromeda. In 2017 they will potentially release the new IP since they have a lot of people working on it now.
Game engines get updated but still use the same core. For example the Frostbite engine is currently the Frostbite 3 engine. So it may be the Frostbite 4 engine by then, but it will still be Frostbite.

Just have the Inquisitor wear a mask the entire time.
Problem solved.

But Frostbite 4 engine faces woulnd be compatibile with Frostbie 3 would they ?

The arm can be easily replaced so that is not even a issue, I want to play as the inqusitor again instead this replay of underdogs over and over. I want to bond with my character and seeing them only one game espy after all the work I did and disappear into the next as some standby or cameo is very disapointing. Also minor thing for me-it discourages me from replaying the playthroughs. Yes thier is the keep but more fun for me to play

Dunno if they are going to bring back the Inquisitor, but I wouldn't mind much if they didn't. After watching the Trespasser ending again, to me it either seems to imply that theres going to be a new protagonist, one the Inquisitor would be sure wasn't "tainted" by Solas (either being his spy/agent knowingly or unknowingly), or the Inquisitor would go to Tevinter to build up his forces in a nation where the a large amount of people would be very resistant to the idea of an elven revolution.
It would make sense to have bring back the Inquisitor, storywise anyway, arm or not.
Although I can't help but think of the possibilities for new character creation in DA4
Human mage: from a respected Tevinter magister family (think human noble in DAO)
Human warrior/rogue: Tevinter gladiator (badass figthing skills, Kratos-style)
Dwarf: working in the dwarven embassy in Minrathous or surface lyrium smuggler (think DAO dwarf noble and commoner)
Elf: slave, untainted by Solas influence (think City Elf from DAO, but more oppression)

Yeah, a new character everygame is more fun. Even if all my characters are very much quite similiar the same xD

Exactly, there is just so much more character development if we can play them across a couple of games.

I just want to play as Inquisitor Furiosa, and not just for part of a game...I know it won't happen, but I can dream.Ash, Anakin, Luke, Jensen, Guts, Shirou, Shepard (by ME2 she is pretty much a cyborg at this point) ect
The list goes on with protags/characters that despite losing a hand/arm/limbs where just as strong or even stronger in terms of writing or combat)

I personaly would like to see Inquisitor as someone who you answer to for a fixed period of the game, and based on choices in DAI he would be for example be an evil madman trying to get the goal achived by any means necessary and say you could disagree with him or he could be a pain in the ass like doctor house xD or ofcourse as it would be form ost of ye probably a humble servant of his ppl trying to restore order and at the same time he would be a picture of inocence. It would also be cool if you could confrot him if your personalities differ and then decide his fate. I hope they wont go cheap on this, it would be a shame.

Right now it's "Holiday 2016". I'd be prepared for a possible delay into 2017. Then there's the mystery IP, that might or might not come out before DA4. So who knows when we might get DA4.

Intellectual Property.
Basically the new game universe Bioware is creating.

I am not exactly satified with only one game of each genre coming out every 2 years, its not like sifi and fantasy start to bore any1 do they ? hopefully they got another team working on that new IP.

Dragon Age and Mass Effect would be completely destroyed if they came out yearly. Looks at Asscreed for example, no where near as good as it was back in 2008.

I hope it takes a while. DA2 came out quick, and we all know how that ended. It will be a hellish wait, but at least we can chat, speculate and debate with one another.

I didnt say yealy but ever 2 years ?![]()
And tbh Assasin Creed was a boring reptitable game ever since I rember in fact all Ubi soft games are quite crappy
The only one I liked is Black FLag.
I noticed thers alot of hate for DA2 but I dont understand why, I didnt like the manga animations, and the fact they degraded the combat by flooding us with stupid mobs and removing tactical camera. Also I think since the area of gam was so small kirkwall should so much more interesting. Which is why i keep whining about how BW treats us DAO>DA2>DAI. But then apart from quiality, I did like the story and Hawke and all xD I cant understand why ppl say DAI Is better than DA2.
Anyways do you think we would get bored so quickly if it was coming out ever 2nd year ?

Not 100% sure i understood what you're saying, but i'll reply anyway.
It's not about getting bored of the franchise because we get lots of them every 2 years. It's about ensuring the devs use all of their resources, time included, to make the game exceptionally well. The improvements made in Inquisition can thank time for the opportunity to make them. Being able to be a different race was implemented because they had the time to do it.
If DA2 didn't have re-used area's but did have a place or two outside of kirkwall and better enemies that aren't the same group jumping down from the sky, it would have had a much better reaction. But they didn't have the time to do it. Hawke was also an outsider in their own story, in my opinion.
DAI, in my opinion, was closer to Origins than DA2. It had more role-play opportunities and lots of interesting things to see. After the first year in Kirkwall, we'd seen all it had to offer. DAI had a stronger story, more to see for those who like lore, some great characters and the open world was a good start. There are considerable weaknesses in all 3 games, but there are positives in all of them too.
I don't think we will have to wait as long as we did for Inquisition, because lots of that time was spent working out the new engine. But at the same time, i wouldn't expect it in 2 years...for various reasons.

What i was trying to say is if theyll put time into new IP we will wait longer
And we could wait not so much assuming it wasnt there. Also i have bad feeling about that new IP beeing some comercial crap for EA. Like Yodas adventures or such...

Ah, i see.
They are split into teams, though. DA team is probably doing something on DA, but it likely won't be greenlit for some time.
I'm curious about it, too. But it may tide us over for DA4...i hope.
