Would it be so bad if, for example, we got tired of the haircut we picked out originally and maybe want to change it? I think it would be interesting to see that in the game, have squadmates mention the new haircut. Or maybe have the option of growing and/or shaving facial hair, getting tattoos in the beginning of the game and get more during the game or remove the ones we no longer like.

An expedition to colonize new worlds would take a very long time and i think it would be cool to show how real life would really be on a mission of that magnitude.

you better pray to god that Gibbed save editor is ported for ME4 ;)

I'd definitely go for this though. could show the passage of time on your player's face. stubble growing into a beard or a moustache, hair growing longer......why not?

That would be awesome. It was stupid how we couldn't even change our Shepard's hairstyle between games without having to remake them from scratch.

It would be nice if there was something like BE DLC that DA2/3 had to change your appearance.

There were GibbedSaveEditors for that when it came to previous ME games.

For ME2: http://social.biowar...ect/4373/#files

For ME3: http://www.moddb.com...-3-save-editor1

Hair for ME2: http://old.masseffec...s&tutorial=hair

As for hairs for ME3 you have tons of mods for that one so you can search thumblr and search some there, visit nexus it has a little though or go on GIRLYPLAYGAME website ( http://www.girlplaysgame.com/ )

-You are also going to need ME3Explorer in order to install hair mods for ME3 or any mod in particualr for ME3.

You can also change eye/ make custom eye color trough gibbed, use custom head morphs, customize Shepard's face in depth(though you will need to know what you are doing when it comes to face so you don't screw up greatly your Shepard's face in something monstrous lol), also change hair color/make custom one  and etc. lots of other things.

Example of custom Shep trough Gibbed:

I think this is mandatory at this point, and I'd be really disappointed if they didn't include it.

Didn't they have it in ME3 though? I don't remember.

I don't recall it being formally included. They should have included it, though.

They didn't have it in ME3, i think only in the begninning I was able to change facial features but there was no way to change it after the starting screen.

I only have one play of ME3, but I thought I remembered there being something in the medical bay. It might have been just for skill re-specialization, though. Or possibly the renegade scarring.

Either way, they should really have this.

I don't follow. When I import a Shepard, when I choose to customize, it retains the face but I can tweak certain things, same for NG+. So if I wanted, I could keep my Shep's face but change the hair if I so desired.

It'd be nice, since PC seems always look bit different in the actual game than in CC so you could do tweaks in the looks at least without redoing whole character.

You actually can at least when importing from ME2 to ME3. I tweaked some with my female Shepards and then had to remake my male Shepard since the importer changed him from black-haired Asian man to blond white one.

I'm talking about ME1 -> ME2, I didn't know you could do that in ME3. :mellow:

I have nothing against having that for Andromeda.

I only used the mirror once in all my playthroughs of DA2/DAI and that was to change the hair color otherwise I would never of used it

I will be disappointed if its not in there. This is something that should be in all games with customizing from now on.

Yup, she is mine.

Spoiler

And nope, face code for her doesn't exist! She was modded trough gibbed mate. I can give you her face morph for you to import trough gibbed though but you will have to send me private message for that since I don't share anything of mine in public, usually I just share stuff with my friends or people I know more or less but I will give you her face preset and links to where you can get hair(which is recommended since she uses custom hair) and armors in case you wish to know.

But as I said for that send me message and I will provide you with link.

I really hope so. Many a character has ended up in the delete pile for me when I gradual realise that i've made them slightly wrong. Over time this always becomes the only thing i can see in every cut scene. And then, sooner or later, the weak chinned/ weirdly bug eyed/ Neanderthal looking monster has to go... If i ever become a parent I really hope I'm more forgiving :P

If I had a nickel for every time I sat through ME2's eternal unskippable intro just to vainly to to fix my character's chipmunk cheeks, I'd be able pay for MEA.

Using the Normandy as an example, I think the washroom in the 'loft' on Deck 1 could be used to achieve this 'using the mirror' to make changes. And without killing off and bringing back the main PC would also be a big plus.

The ME community is full of brilliant and talented people that forgo playing the game and work on modding.

I am one grateful ME/DA player to the fans that are our creators.

And since DAI has a plethora of mods already and the hurdle to figuring out that new game engine is done... I suspect the modding community will have mods out the first week of release.

Thank you to ALL that are MOD content creators.

I love you.

I don't see why you couldn't at least change your hairstyle and facial hair, like in Fallout NV.

Not sure if I can mention this game without people going into a frenzy, but this was a cool ambient feature of The Witcher 3. Geralt's hair and beard were always growing. If you wanted a clean-shaven, short-clipped Geralt, you had to visit the barber. I thought it added verisimilitude. Geralt begrudgingly gets a cut and shave early in the game, and I always enjoyed watching the beard grow back to my desired look for him in this game.

With the present hardware and quality competition, there is absolutely no good reason, in my opinion, for BioWare to keep leaving out the small details like this. Quality in the little details really adds to the feel of the game; though, honestly, I think most of us would be relieved and content with passably lifelike hair for the first time! Please step up the hair game, BioWare!
