OK. No rush. Will wait until you are ready. But will also hold out forking over the credit card cash for the PC version until you are ready (gonna buy the digital version since I have so many physical copies of said game for consoles. So, where would be the best place to get it. Steam? Whatever lolOrigin is? Amazon?).

Ha-ha yeah go get it from steam /s
You can only buy it from origin. You can buy keys from other sites but IDK much about it.
I have it on me3tweaks (hidden) and am preparing to upload it. Note this is a alpha/beta, it will be buggy and it will crash at certain points. You will need Mod Manager 4 Beta 4 to install it. AutoTOCing it will throw an ME3Explorer error because the version mod manager uses is 717 but only got fixed by me in 719, and I will need to make Mod Manager 4.1 require this new version. (This mod will eventually require new moddesc descriptors to add files. I will also add the ability to remove files, and maybe support installing to unpacked dlcs)
Sending you a PM Terminator with the link, once we test it out with others we will widen the test group.

You can download the beta here:
http://me3tweaks.com...llersupport.zip
The update to it will require build 45 once I finish it, lots of new features and some big fixes.
This does *NOT* work with the SP version of this mod.

I think we can stand it because we prefer it over endless trouble shooting of pc gamer life...
I mean don't get me wrong. When pc is the only option, I'll trouble shoot all day to get the game I want to play + even go as far as messing around with hex-editors for my fave retro games that I want to squeeze more out of. But the luxury of just hitting the power button and everything works with a gamepad with zero issues is... a luxury that's very hard to pass up for us lazy console gamers...
Still, having said that. I want this pc ME3mp working with a gamepad already... so back to troubleshooting pug life for me... halp!

^ I've had issues with compatibilities and what not on other pc games before to get turned off this sort of thing. Or just pc issues and whatever hardware software I'm using. It never ends with pc. Always something to trouble shot. Why I'm saying it's so nice to just be able to hit the power button and not have to worry about anything every now and then. And that I have a good friend that handles all the more technical side of my pc & car fixing/building related needs (to which I can't believe he has so much patience when I see him work/troubleshot).

I'm still on it all the time. Just rather rather not dwell too much on things that rob me of my time and patience sometimes. That and I have someone who takes care of the bigger pc issues. Like if I need more power, I tell my buddy to build me a more power pc, instead of me having to do it.

Right now the mod manager code is pretty deep into build 45 and reverting it for a single change is kinda difficult. Turns out the mod merger is a lot of work...
In the meantime do a repair of everything from Mod Manager, then in origin right click the game and repair it. Try it and see if that works for you on vanilla to make sure some leftover files aren't around. (Restore mod Manager to save time as backups are local)

Wait, ... is all this troubleshooting getting to you too, Mgamerz? Well, you could do what I'm doing, grab a cold beer and play Dark Souls 2. Today I'm drinking Blue to chase away the blues.
... Arrr, Captain Master Hacker. I've done all you said and still instant failure... gonna need me some more Blue...

Not really. I've been working on Mod Manager for a couple of days since I'm prepping a new version that supports a lot more configurations (such as unpacked DLC for texture mods). Texture mods aren't directly compatible (and I won't support them directly). Also will be able to add/remove files, auto inject keybinds, configure some more options. Also can mod collectors edition DLC and Genesis2.
Having to deal with merge conflicts is a pain. It used to just be if two mods replaced the same files. Now its if they replace the same, add and remove the same, add the same, or add and replace the same. That is like 10x more code since the interface isn't designed for that kind of scalability.
Edit: You did the origin repair game? That should have fixed it. It copies files from origin's servers.
Once you get the game in a runnable state make sure you backup your DLC from the backup menu (it would have asked anyways later but this is just for sure)

Yes, Origin repair feature (there's that word again "feature"). And yes, I used the back up feature in modmaker... maybe I'll just delete everything and just reinstall everything when I wake up. I don't know. Tired. Shutting down myself for the night...
And nice to see you so into it. I can kind of relate and understand. Once you're really into something, it's very hard to stop. But good feeling either way.

i never ever have problems with my pc, its like a learn to use issue. also one thing is certain, i don't want to see crippled controller users in my gold/plat lobbies. remember the higher the framerate the more devestating the AI is.60 fps on pc is a huge difference compared to console 30fps.

Yes, that tune really added to the butt kickery of that vid.

They won't be in you're lobby. Only works if the gamepad user is host so far, if not always.
The only thing that's really crippled is not being able to run and turn around 360. But this issue can be fixed on gamepads too if the devs had half a brain (something like holding run button switches L & R buttons to panning camera left and right). But then again, limitations in gameplay is part of gameplay & game design itself. ie; think of the old classic videogames like NES 2D Castlevania Trilogy. You can't whip in every direction as that would change the game design of the enemies and level layout (SNES SCIV did this, and look how much worse that ended up balance wise & why Genesis Bloodines is better designed/balanced of the two 16-Bit vania games). Keeping it simple also gives devs an easier time & way more control over enemy and level design in the difficulty balance area. And in a business where meeting deadlines is always getting way out of control over second of game development, I'm surprised more devs don't simplify more instead of given us more rushed buggy and unbalanced garbage.
So in other words, the more freedom/OP powers you give the the player, the harder time the devs have balancing and designing the game out. Because now they have to overpower what the players face, and the give and take balancing act is getting too out of control for layman (ie. Western) developers to handle the more OP they start making both sides of the equation. I also say Western, because they always make this mistake and can't handle this anywhere near as well as the more gameplay focused Japanese devs (Western devs focus more on worlds and story. Just compare Dark Souls VS Skyrim or Mass Effect to see this yourself).

^ Pretty much. But also don't expect you aiming to be top notch instantly overnight from switching mouse and key to gamepad. I know when I switch from X-Box 360 gamepad to PS3 or WiiU, my aim is out of this world brutal and nowhere near the X-Box 360 standard. To the point that I still never got the hang of them and always feeling like a total scrub playing with those 2 gamepads.
I did manage to fix this issue on PS3 with the PS4 gamepad, since the analog sticks are very close in stick length (shorter like 360) and feedback pressure (more pressure like 360). However, the X-Bone gamepad I tried in local game store, have the exact same issue as PS3/WiiU (stick is too long and feedback pressure almost none-existent).
This is again mostly when playing games like shooter where precision aiming is required. Games like Dark Souls, not so much of a difference.

Eh im kinda getting used to it. It's not that crippling. Turning around fast is harder. And precision is slower but for most weapons I can hold it on the enemy. I seem to be able to do combat maneuvers fairly easy again. It's not like your plat lobbies aren't full of pugs anyways.
good thing you mention it. if you finish this mod you create a new and even more evil kind of pugs: the "controller pugs".

Too bad you don't know how to read.
I just finished fixing the last of the obvious bugs in the mod merger (now can merge add/remove tasks). God damn that's a lot of work. I imagine it's going to still be buggy until I can throw some complex stuff at it. I also figured out how to handle the new PCConsoleTOC files, but making it fully vanilla-able will require work, as the PCConsoleTOC file can be either for SFAR files (1 entry - size of sfar) or unpacked (lots of entries for lots of files). They replace the same file though, so I will have to figure out how to account for it. It's not a priority right now though. I should soon be able to test in-game to see how things are going. After that we will have an installer for hte MP mod with textures.
