The harrier? Really bad UR. Give me the Eagle any time (Almost identical damage per shot, more ammo). Seriously sick of hearing how OMGBS the Harrier is, it's not, it is garbage above Bronze. It is one of the best mook killers in the game, and that's about it. It will take your ENTIRE RESERVE AMMO to kill one boss unit. You get ALMOST as much damage out of the entire reserve ammo of the Avenger. (18k vs 20k, vs gold+ armour).
EDIT: For comparison, Lancer is 10k/clip, Typhoon is about 50k for all reserve ammo, and Spitfire is 22k clip/100k for all reserve ammo)
As first glance I fear you're trolling. I'll take your statements point by point.

Based on Kalence, both at level X no passives or amps, Harrier does 130 damage per bullet while Eagle does 108, with Harrier having 20 in the clip and Eagle having 24. That comes out to Harrier having 2600 damage per clip and Eagle has 2592, so yes per clip is very similar. But the Harrier fires much faster at 550 rpm as opposed to the Eagle at 400, so the rate at which the damage is dealt is much much higher with the Harrier.

Cannot disagree more. It's a monster on all difficulties. And seeing as how all the really good players in this game know the easiest way to beat it is to kill all the mooks and then finish the bosses, having a mook killing weapon is amazing. Also, it doesn't exactly hurt against bosses. And your comment about reserve ammo doesn't make much sense, since there are ammo boxes all over the place, plus you have thermal clip packs. I never have any issues with the ammo with the Harrier. The only way I see you having ammo issues is if you camp in an area that doesn't have an ammo box, which again, if you're doing that you need to learn to play differently (I think saying play better is a little rude and condescending).

Again, the amount of damage a gun can deal with all the ammo you can carry for it isn't a good way to compare weapons at all, since the main thing that matters is how fast that damage can get put out. For example, if the Predator pistol had 999 reserve ammo, would you say it does more damage than the Eagle, just because if both guns shot all their bullets the Predator would've done more damage, even though the Eagle would've gotten all of it's bullets out in much less time? Ammo boxes make spare ammo arguments kind of pointless.
