As a PS3 player, I'm happy about this. My Deluxe Edition was a gift, so I'll be buying this for my future PS4.

I just called about this, also. EA is giving NO consideration for Deluxe Customers.

I did what one other person did and bought the initial game in the US and 1 DLC.

So, my total was:

$70 + $15 = $85

If I buy all of the other DLCs/Add-Ons it will be:

$70 + $15 + $15 + $15 + $5 + $5 = $125

While the GOYE is $60

I understand that games get cheaper as they age, so I'd be willing to meet EA halfway on this, but 2x the price is ridiculous!!!!

Guess I'll be waiting for a Black Friday sale or another year for the game to be so old that the other 4 DLCs are $5.

For shame EA!!

Assuming you still care next year. DAI was a last gen / new gen hybrid game and there are so many more exciting things coming down the pipeline that are fully next-gen. Sadly DAI wasn't good enough to me to become a classic I will care to revisit either once I've moved on.

Complain again at this link:

I play on PC and I complained politely and got a 15% discount at Origin.

I got on the website and I selected, DAI, PC, Game information - News, and got in EA Chat in about 5 to 10 minutes.

This was my "Chat":

you Oct 22, 2015 10:10:01 PM
Why does DAI Deluxe Upgrade plus all DLC cost $65 - $5 more than Goty?

you Oct 22, 2015 10:10:01 PM
I feel I am not appreciated as an existing customer who bought DAI at launch when a new customer can get the whole game for less than I can buy the extra content.

Typical; Loyal fans, the fans that are EA's bread and butter, get screwed over again.  Best thing for your wallet is to not pre-order or buy games from EA until they are on sale, otherwise EA end's up shafting you, because as far as EA is concerned, loyal fans are the thickest, dumbest imbecile's on Gods planet and don't deserve to have any money, and you know what? They are probably right.

Did anyone see what Larian Studios just did?  They gave everyone who owned Divinity Original Sin a free copy of the just released Enhanced Edition.

This was not just a $5 bundle of some reskinned armor (spoils of the bla-bla), this was a full overhaul of the one-year-old game including additional voice acting added for other characters. They also just announced they are working on the next installment in the series, I for one will be pre-ordering several copies for myself and family.

Like it or not, this is the norm for this gaming genre, and if EA wants to be in it, this is what the fans expect.  For both DAO and DA2 I bought everything on launch day, no regrets.  For DAI, I waited mostly due to many great titles released around the same time.  I do not expect EA to give us the DLC for free, but I expect some bundling on this one-year-old title.

And yes, I am entitled!  When I bring my car in for service, I am entitled to burnt coffee and stale donuts.  When I buy a game in this genre, I am entitled to some Fan Love from the developer, its the industry norm.

I haven't purchased any DLC of Inquisition, just own the base game, and I decide to buy the GOTY edition several years later at a cheap price like ultimate edition of DAO

Literally had just woken up and have autocorrect on my iPad. Not going to bother to edit - doesn't change your trolliness. Or that I think you're unpleasant. *edited from an expletive beginning with a C*

Is that really the best you can do?

You should turn Autocorrect off. All it does is give you a false sense of security.

Yeah, Fantastic.  I have put a hour or two into it, and it really is enhanced.  If this had been EA we would be looking at £60, and that would have been only half of it, the rest sold as DLC at a later date.

No way something can considered the "norm" in an industry if a company doing it is considered "news".

Yeah. And I appeal that the owner of Inquisitor's Edition should get the GotY Edition FREE! :P

Especially considering, the utter crap quality of the Inquisitors edition..
