Someone recently PM'ed me to ask for the internal cooldown on the 10% chance for Hidden Blades for 5 hits (it's 10 seconds), but I thought it could be useful to make this info publicly available.

So if you need info about a proc, ask away. Internal cooldown, damage multipliers, chance to proc, etc.

(If this thread doesn't get any replies I'll assume it's not useful info)

Can you proc if you want to? Can you leave your friends behind?

Is the cooldown always 10 seconds?

I read Audacity based explosion dmg based on the last strike used by the player, instead of the base weapon dmg. Is there any other weapon that bases itself on something other than base weapon dmg?

Not sure if this is a proc, but does the 5%-10% dmg increase/enemy within X m have a cap, or peculiarities about how it triggers?

Is the chance to proc ever not 10%? Edit: sorry, silly question. Is it ever different from what is stated at the menu though?

What does "proc" derive from? I understand it means an ability that triggers when a certain condition is met, but "proc?" Is it an acronym? Short for something?

Process I think but I am not young and hip so don't quote me on it.

Some time ago I got The Knight's Second (awesome shield) and there's something I wonder.

The description says: Every 30 seconds, a spirit blocks one melee attack.

So I wonder know if this means every 30 seconds if in a fight:

0 sec - fight starts

15 sec - attacked - not blocked

30 sec - attacked - blocked

or general every 30 seconds

0 sec - game/run starts

25 sec - fight starts - attacked - not blocked

30 sec - attacked - blocked

Audacity is 75% damage from the main hand, I don't think it's based on the last strike (as far as I can tell)

Can you tell me the name of a weapon with the 5% /enemy proc?

Nameless Blade if I think you're referring to the weapons that increase damage by 5% / enemy nearby.

Audacity proc (other explosion on kill procs) is based on damage done from the killing strike, otherwise 75-150% of base damage as explosion would be really weak.

Nameless Blade, Dwarven Proving Shield have 5-10%/ enemy buff.

No cap. It applies the modifier to DA3/Combat/Stats/Stat_Damage_Bonus_All

BWCollisionAreaOfEffect    :

BWCollision    :

HitFriendlies    : False
HitEnemies    : True
HitCharacters    : True
HitNonCharacters    : False
HitDeadCharacters    : False

HitClosestFirst    : True

Applies on a 3D sphere (BWAoeCollisionSphere) with 8.000 radius

It looks more like a Revenant to me  or like one of those "ghosts" when you use Line in the Sand.

What is the proc chance on Stinking Cheater shield?

Looks like 16 secs according to wavebands 8th post above. I was testing this out earlier today in threatening solo and it seems to proc a decent amount but the damage appears either non existant, virtually nothing or its not working properly.

I'd like to know how the damage is worked out as it may not scale to weapon damage.

The damage in this specific case doesn't show damage floaties.

Ah, thanks for that info. I suspected that though the enemy health bar didn't appear to decrease while they were in the cloud so I ended up just killing them normally when the cloud disappeared.

I was using a hakkon which typically can do around 1k of normal melee damage with my templar so was a little disappointed with this as the effect was rather cool but the cloud seemed to do as much damage as my fart :P

Unfortunately farts cant crit, so its damage pales even quicker when using a hakkon weapon.

That makes sense now. Hope critical damage gets incorporated into the damage formula at some point for these types of dot effects.
