It's always fun to watch unshielded mooks succumb to the infamous pop lock of fire, but then I got to thinking - why, in the future, have they stopped teaching people to stop, drop, and roll?
I find it odd that a society of the future would not learn even the most rudimentary of countermeasures for when your body is set aflame. We all know they have the ability to roll. This completely destroyed my immersion, and I don't know if I'll be able to use incendiary rounds or fire-based powers until they rectify this.
How about water-based powers? Would you guys want this? I think something like a pelting shower of rain at various levels in power, like bronze, silver, and gold, like an R Kelly power, would be pretty interesting, especially if it interacted in some way with existing powers. Would this be biotic or tech?
And why don't Volus ever complain about the smell? They are at the optimum height for post-processed food olfactory examinations, so I would think some of their dialogue would reflect this. Sure, it's possible they have air filters, yes, but would they be strong enough for pyjak burrito ryncol blasts from Krogans? Haha, silly scifientists. I think not.
I hope some of these musings are answered in ME:A. I'm almost certain they are top priority, but you really never know.
