Nah, but in the eyes of gamers who've either never played DA or only play it casually (i.e almost everyone I know IRL), I have an obsession. Because of past experiences, I have been forced to begin most DA related conversations with my friends like this:

Friend: *asks question about DA and/or it's lore*

Me: "Are you ready to have this discussion?"

Yes, it is quite sad.

Honestly? No, not really. I know bits and pieces, but I'm not really a DA lore expert. More like a DA lore journeyman or apprentice - using TES levels of knowledge (i.e. novice < apprentice < journeyman < expert < master).

Lol this should be a meme!

I am envisioning a blackboard or whiteboard, with Solas standing next to it. He's holding a wooden stick which is pointing at the board, and he's got an Einstein wig on his head... possibly a moustache, too.

Really though, I'm a big fan. There's so much that confuses me. Unlike what people's say, I find people discussing lore very essential in the overall knowledge. It brings everything full circle. There is so much religious lore in Dragon Age...they piece everything thing together. Just like in real life we have professional philosophers like William Lane Craig, Sam Harris and others debate whether God exists. They bring their ideas together and we get a better understanding.

I gotta warn them ahead of time.

"You are not ready for this discussion."

I'm, or at least very knowledgeable. Not so much on pre-tevinter stuff though. And I need to read in details the Chant of light in world of thedas but it's kinda boring X)

Also a bit on the fallout universe. I really like to go into details in fictional world crafting.

No Dragon age Inquisition.

Inquisition overrides everything from previous game (seriously now), so after Inquisition we know it was all elves.

Do you mean the lore that contradicts the other lore, or the lore the contradicts the other other lore?

Not an expert but I did a great deal of research on Tevinter to make my rp guides. Plus I'm obsessed with Tevinter anyway so it was fun to learn as much as I could.

No, I'm pretty much what Morrigan hates. If its magic I kill it, don't need to know where it came from.

I'm fairly knowledgeable about what the writers have decided to explain. For instance, I could probably write a ****** thesis about Elven history at this point.
