Human looking part is not much of a problem(all aliens in ME have some human looking trait) problem is that by what we have been showed they look too much like humans and we don't need asari 2 case(though considering how asari don't look as they seem.....actually they are most alien and mysterious looking in here).

Anyway back to quarians I still hope BW will make this design as canon instead:

tali.jpg

It still has human traits but this design is also more exotic and alien then the one BW gave us

1. I've seen this before and I dig it.

2. I would love to see a male version.

3. This reminds me of the desire demon.

I do think this looks a lot more refined than what was shown in game, would definitely prefer something like this.

Forgive me but starfish face with skin actually growing over hair....  No.

(of course, this is my opinion only)

Now canon:  Resembles humans the MOST (from the books) This is no where as close to humans as asari are so it cannot be correct.

Also, they have ear analogs, not enlarged ones as in the pic.

Okay, this is something I did not know since I've never done the synthesis ending, but... apparently, unless they retcon the quarian look, we have already seen quarians unmasked in the game!

Go to 7:53 and you see the profile of a quarian woman.

Unfortunately, they appear to simply have human faces. At least they're not ugly, I guess...

I would have to say their "suit culture." How their suits are very personal things that say a lot about them, and how versatile they are (can stash lots of things in their suits, can attach various tools to them, etc.) It isn't stated, but I like to imagine the colors and cloths used to adorn the suits have meaning as well. I especially like the hoods/scarves they drape over their helmets; the women's style reminds me of hijab.

But then this basically boils down to a mere technicality. The salarians essentially did the exact same thing by cultivating a superviolent race of shock troops, just like the protheans did with the rachni, and the salarians are attempting to do again with the yagh. In the end, ignoring the pleas for sake of their AI law ended up costing them as well.

But it's funny about the yahg, because they are in a great many ways worse than the krogan, because they're much more intelligent and more organized than they could ever hope to be. They can't even be lied to, because their perceptiveness exceeds that of most species. If an uplifted militarized force of yahg decided they didn't want to be tools for frogs and decided they were going to strike at them, they'd likely attack them the same exact way the salarian STG would, without the bang and bluster of a krogan invasion, and would likely be without any warning whatsoever. Heck a single disgruntled yahg might just launch a sneak attack to simply assassinate the dalatrass and other forms of leadership.

I don't why, but this makes me want to see more of the Yahg.

Can Quarians even make an appearance? If we don't get some kind of save importer, we can't confirm if there's any left alive.

I would argue that the Salarian uplift of the Krogan vies for that top spot, followed by the Asari withholding vital tech to keep an edge in violation of a law they penned.

Whoever opened the rachni relay in the first place. Leviathans for creating the catalyst/reapers. Whoever decided on not having an agelimit on the internet itself... The list goes on...

What's one of the best parts of ME3? You can wipe out both the quarians and the geth in one play-through.

Good thing you're unequivocally wrong. I wasn't intentionally designed and created specifically for the purpose of making toast, so anyone coming to such a conclusion would be equally wrong. Kind of like that one toaster that expressed a similar sentiment once. It was called sovereign or something (lol, it had a name, how quaint). I told it that it was a stupid machine that could be broken, and then proceeded to break it, because it was a stupid machine.
