I think it's very likely that Scout Harding will be a companion in DA4.

 

But also, you forgot Sigrun! Admittedly she was only in the expansion, so we could definitely use another female dwarf companion.

Really just more of those two races would be appreciated. We've got a plethora of human characters, I'd appreciate some diversity and thus insight.

 

Plus the only dwarf in your party in the last 2 games has been the same dwarf. K.

Everyone always seems to forget poor Sigrun, she was a female dwarf. Not that I don't agree with the OP. I would very much like a female dwarf companion, as well as a female qunari, preferably a Saarabas because we haven't really gotten to interact with one of those yet.

Really liked Scout Harding, definitely want her as a teammate next go round!  Would be nice to finally have a female Qunari teammate also, especially if they can get an upgrade in the attractiveness department.

We should have less 'human' companions; Origins we had Shale and Barkspawn. II and Inquisition we had no such things. We had Justice and Cole. But they were human in that they used human animations and a human model. Nothing special.

From datamining we know there was a female tal vashoth who was concepted for Inquisition but got cut. She's called Shokrakar and she's a member of/in charge of the Valo Kas mercenary company, the same company the Qunquisitor is from. As of Trespasser she and the Valo Kas are working for Varric in Kirkwall. Since they went to the trouble of giving her a backstory I'm hopeful we'll get to see her in DA4.

 

I fully expect Harding to be a companion in the next game.
