Now that there's a DA:I GOTY, how about an ME3 or ME Trilogy GOTY?

I always thought it was a little lame that, several years on, the DLC still isn't bundled with the game (which of course means that only the most die-hard fans will see it). I loved ME2 but never got around to playing ME3. A GOTY edition would be fantastic, and is the only way I ever expect to see all those lovely story addons.

My guess is that it's essentially an EA decision rather than a Bioware decision, but now the door is open. How about it?

There is already a ME series Trilogy Edition that comes with a few DLC for the first two games. Take a look in the Origin Store.

I'm sure that if they were planning on releasing a special edition with more dlc included (goty or otherwise), they would have done so sooner.

Sadly they don't plan to release it on the Xbox one/PS4 as an HD collection which may have had all the DLC included.

Also, none of the ME games were released in the last year, so it's to late for a Game of the Year edition.

I agree. I only bought ME this year, I got the trilogy some edition with some DLC on a discount on psn when it was on a special offer. But I want the other dlcs. I bought Citadel, and the others are also just as pricey. So really still looking at spending a bomb on the DLCs alone.

No. The ME trilogy edition literally comes with:

-Bringing Down the Sky

-Cerberus Network

Thats it. You have to buy all the other bloodly dlc separately. Here's a total since you're too ignorant to look yourself:

- Pinnacle Station - $5

- Lair of the Shadow Broker - $10

- Arrival - $7

- Overlord - $7

- Kasumi - $7

- From Ashes $10

- Leviathan - $10

- Citadel - $15

- Omega - $15

- All weapon and armour packs - $16

In case you cant do the math, thats $102 worth of DLC. ON TOP OF THE TRILOGY PACK. The only dlc included in the trilogy pack are ones that are FREE

The only platform that gets a somewhat decent deal is the PS3 owners, since Lair of the Shadow Broker, Overlord and Kasumi are included in the trilogy pack for PS3, unlike 360 and PC versions. Meaning, you save $24 (and you still have to pay $78!)

From the Official Site:

What DLC is included in the Mass Effect Trilogy?

•On PC, Mass Effect will include Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station on disk. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included which features Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack, Cerberus Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and Normandy Crash site mission. For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting players access to co-op multiplayer.

On Xbox 360, Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station are not included, however they are available as stand-alone downloads through Xbox LIVE. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included and Online Pass will be included for Mass Effect 3.

On PlayStation 3, Bring Down the Sky will be included both on disc and on the PSN download, Mass Effect 2 will still have the same DLC on-disc that it was originally shipped with: Cerberus Network; Genesis; Kasumi; Overlord; and Lair of the Shadow Broker. Finally, Mass Effect 3 will also be exactly as it originally shipped.

To my knowledge, no Mass Effect game has ever been voted "Game of the Year", so they wouldn't rerelease one under that banner.

Isn't that just a technicality, though?
