As for potions, I preferred Regeneration save for my Mages who used Lyrium.

About Stealth, it's a thing that enemy archers will hit you (and stay on you like glue) with their longwinded faux-Full Draw attack. However, they properly lose all track of you once they've fired that shot.

 

Accordingly, I reckon any enemy with a similarly coded attack will hit you under the same circumstances - provided they were already aiming at you and it has infallible tracking.

The lyrium Templars use is more concentrated, and they take a great deal more of it than my mages ever do. 

 

I will never make one of my characters a Warrior Templar, not after reading what happens to Cullen in Trespasser's Epilogue if he continues to take the stuff. If you have not done that yet, refrain from doing so - it's that sad.

I worked at a bar all through college.

The bar "occasionally" "let" me drink while I was working.

The bar also "occasionally" "donated" alcohol that I could take home with me.

The bar, most the time, didn't "know" it did either of those things.
