I know I know. Personal opinion. But if you want to rip off other games to make yours better Dragon's Dogma is the one.
Dear Bioware just make DA4 Dragon's Dogma gameplay with Dragon Age story.

I agree, I found the gameplay to be fantastic fun, especially the magic abilities and the boss battles.

I do agree that Dragon's Dogma has the best combat I can think of (so much that it'd be my favorite game if it had a story like Dragon Age). Dark Souls comes close, but Dragon's Dogma's combat is fun while playing all classes while Dark Souls is fun with specific builds.

This would be better suited for the Dragon Age Feedback section of the forums.

I tried Dragon's Dogma once, was fun for a couple hours before all the immense cracks in that game where gaping at me. That deeply mediocre game is not something Dragon Age should try copying anything from. . . Well maybe the layered equipment, that was nice. But no more.

Dragon's Dogma was a good game but as fun as the combat was, I personally wouldn't want DA's combat to be exactly the same. DA should stick to being more slow paced and tactical. Plus, climbing on monsters can get old and can get a little too silly if you're not a rogue. Also, Dragon's Dogma's open world was quite bland and lacked substance.
What DA can take inspiration from Dragon's Dogma is its character creator, armor designs (which were a nice balance between fantasy and practical), friggin CAPES AND LONG HAIR, monster design, gritty atmosphere, attack animations (their two handed attack animations were a joy to look at) and spell casting animations (that's how you make mages scary!).
As bland as the open world of Dragon's Dogma was, I still prefer its art style over DA. Art is subjective but I still feel that DA Inquisition had a very "meh" art style.

Just rip-off Witcher 3 instead so I can die happy.

Ooh, I loved the combat in Dragon's Dogma! If they could combine that with DA2's tactics system, I'd love it. Not that I dislike DAI's but yeah. Very good combat.

DD is dope. Especially the magic/mages. Can't think of an RPG that I've played that does magic better than DD.

I've been wanting a magic archer/rogue in Dragon Age for a long time. Sure DD had a terrible story but the combat was top notch and the AI of the pawns were much better. Sitting down with them and telling them how I want them to behave during battle was very immersive and actually watch them follow those orders was great. If BW is gonna give us a sub par story with shyt villains the least they can do is be more imaginative with the combat and classes.

I loved the Magick Archer. I definitely wouldn't say no to something like that in Dragon Age.
