In DAI, all I ever use is that partial shaved shoulder length style, no matter what gender. It's.......getting old but I can't stand the other styles.

Agree. Wasn't a fan of DAI face customization. It can't be that hard to have good face and body options, from the get go, I mean it's 2015. I'm a PC player, so I hope we get a lot of awesome mods

It would be good to include arm or shoulder tattoos. I didn't like the face tattoo options for DAI. They really should include a lot of hair options also.

With next gen, I see no reason why CC can't include the whole body.

Edit: If they skip adding in filler fetch quests and boring grinding/leveling, then that would make a lot of room for a top notch CC.

So yes.

Part of my excuse for barely ever making dudes is that they're not fuzzy enough. Of course, I have a lot of excuses for the rarity of my male protagonist playthroughs, including male Imperial agent has ruined me for lesser dudes, but I feel the lack of sternum bush is a major flaw.

I'm actually like 60% serious about that, too.

I would love piercings also. Not anything over the top given we may be military. But are ear piercings too much to ask for?

No we need ear piercings, that's why we have earrings in the first place!

Optional tattoos is OK.

Personally, I find tattoos a sign of insecurity.

As a matter of preference, here's hoping we can purchase tattoos from in-game parlor and/or get a removal for the unwanted tattoos on your custom Character's body? the same way developers did in some simulation games.

IRL I have zero tats and no interest in having them. Although I don't judge anyone who does - lest it be a Tweety Bird tat.

But I have a very specific protag in mind and he needs tats!

On that subject, we do need a black space emporium. Like....at the start.

I would be happy with hair that looks a bit like hair

That would be an excellent start.

Is it just me, or did the CC go downhill from ME to ME3? I started out with a carrot-top redhead soldier in ME (and ME2), but in ME3 the closest haircolors all looked like dye jobs - and the hair itself no longer looked like hair.

Also, the scars my soldier started out with... well, I guess Lazarus did away with them and we got the scarring based on P/R score instead. I'll admit some of the renegades looked pretty cool, but I think I'd prefer that my in-game decisions didn't impact my character's looks.

I would like a hairstyle that is a bit like ME3 Jack's and perhaps the option to have the hair be partially dyed. Tattoos, scars and freckles are three options I'd very much love to see implemented the most.

Hairstyles there are a bit like ME3 Jack's is something I would like to see and be avaliable to both male and female characters:

Example: (http://guidethisonek...s-male-versions

Perhaps the option to have hair be partially dyed like, say, the tips could be a different color than the rest of the hair like how Sims 3 did it. I'd like to see that tried if it would be possible.

Oh and curly hair! I adore curly hair

After seeing this:

Spoiler

I absolutely 100% need the option for my MEA protag to have face tattoos. Preferably some that are influenced by the other species in the same way that asari "make up" kind of is influenced by other species features. I want to headcanon that my protag has some turian face tattoos because she was adopted by a turian family :D

Hair that looks less like a piece of plastic and more like hair would be a big step in the right direction. I don't need individual strands that behave strangely (looking at you TressFX) but hair that actually moves (see: Saint's Row, Tomb Raider without TressFX, The Witcher, Destiny) would be grand. We've seen positive steps in games recently when it comes to hair that doesn't look stupid. I'd like to see more of that.

This is a very minor thing, but -- as you can tell from the profile pic of my dwarven inquisitor -- I'm partial to strong ladies with short, practical hair that doesn't get in the way when blades or bullets are flying across the battlefield.

Although I'm happy with Ms Cadash's hairstyle, it wasn't actually my first choice. I wanted to give her a shaved head, like Jack's from ME2, but, despite the veritable over-abundance of shaved hairstyles in the game, not one of them really suited a white woman. They were either thinning at the temples, looked like badly-drawn marker squiggles, or looked like afro-hair.

So, alongside all of the awesome and extravagant hairstyles that we hope to see, I humbly request "shaved head, for girls". lol

I agree with this. Plus, turning into a hideous beast if you're a bad person sends the message that bad people are, by nature, ugly and good people are beautiful.

That, as we're all aware, simply isn't true. Angelic-looking people can be vile and immoral, and scary-looking people can be true heroes.

It made some sense in KOTOR for a villainous Sith to look worse and worse the further he fell to the Dark Side and became corrupted by its power. But it doesn't make any sense in Mass Effect.

I hope they put a bit of extra time into hair this go-around, since it's a standing weakpoint, and I'd really like to see some decent hairdos.

Or not, so it continues to be a source of hilarity while we all use the same two styles that look good and ignore the others.

I think they probably will. I've seen some MMO's with some nice hairstyles and all that and with Fifa and the ladies in that lookling as good as they do and also this also being an EA game Bioware don't really have any excuses. Apparently they've been looking at and taking some inspiration from those MMO's so there is hope. I think with DAI at least in my opinion they can be forgiven because first game on a new engine or at least new to them even if other studios had already made games on it. As for tatoo's I never really bother withthem anyway so dosen't bother me. But definetely more and better hairstyle options are a must for MEA. I do think they will be provided though.

Also, short hair look amazing IF there is amazing face and for that we need better eyebrows. Companions had amazing hairstyles and eyebrows so why we can't? :C

Bioware really needs to hire a hairstylist as a consultant. Either that or they should hire people from the modding community. Some of the hair mods I've seen (especially for DAI) are leagues ahead of what Bioware made.

Some of my favorite DAI hair mods:

tumblr_nperquMrNq1trrhpxo2_r1_540.png

I'm a little bit tired of only having one or two styles out of 15 or so that don't look like garbage. It hurts character variety if all my PCs have the same hair.

I agree. Saddest part is that I'm playing on PC but mods don't work with non-english game so... :|

Or Dragon's Dogma.

Eh. I'm playng Kingdom Heart 2.5 HD remix, and hair moves and even with the cartoonish style are better rendered and realistic than DAI hair. A PlayStation 2 title. Or, if we won't go into JRPGs (but hey, if the old PS2 could do stuff...), there is always KotOR 2. I've played it recently with the new patch. And the protagonist hair move. Even the short styles.

But the problem with DAI hair is not the move/don't move. Is that the hairstyles choosen are really horrible or very badly modelled, or biologically wrong. And I can't really understand why BioWare didn't create new styles to add in the game. I would have buyed a hair pack instead of the spoils packs.
