So I tried to start playing Mass Effect 3 recently and I noticed that my mass effect 3 face was completely different from my Mass Effect 2 and 1 face.  I also noticed I was not the only one with this problem, I've tried to find a solution to the problem but to no avail.

What I was hoping to find is something like a ME3 converter.  What I noticed was that the code in ME2 are different from those in ME3 for example in ME2 a certain number will give you a dark sin tone but in ME3 it's a light skin tone.  So what I was hoping was that somebody has come up with an idea which translates your ME2 face code so it looks the same in ME3.

By the way when I say my face looks completely different I mean just that.  I have seen some complaints that are unfounded, if you look at ME 3 the graphics are different to those in ME2 so all the characters from ME2 and ME1 look slightly different.  My shephard is black in ME2 and ME1 in ME3 he's white.  That's easy to change but the other features not so much.

I've seen something called the Lazarus project I downloaded but it didn't work.  Does anybody else have any other suggestions?

Usually i use Gibbed which helps identify the different values of your sheps appearance though since mass effect 2 is vastly different in terms of graphics with ME3 doesnt turn out that well.... though worth a shot

Mass effect 3- http://www.moddb.com...-3-save-editor1

Mass effect 2-http://www.moddb.com...t-2-save-editor

Though i suggest try using this face code converter... i used it for ME1 to ME2 worth a shot: http://www.facesofga...lider_generator

Goodluck!

nah it still won't work simply because ME3's face.......materials or whatever you wanna call it are vastly different than ME2's. ME1 converting to ME2 is flawless, exactly the same. ME3 makes it far worse. they tried to make skin look more realistic, and they made it worse.

it's like they took all the ME3 faces and did this to them

Ok i'll give it a try I've had a look at the third option and I don't understand it.  The third one simply tells you what the ME3 codes mean I'm not sure how I'm supposed to aply it to ME 2 (as I'm typing this out I think I might know how but elaborate if you can just in case).

Well actually the third one is just a code converter like if you want a copy your face in ME2 you copy ur code paste it into the converter and when you start up ur ME3 game you can copy the slides seen in the base converter :)

Yea but it doesn't seem to help at all.  I copy and past my ME 2 face in the box and all it does is convert it to a ME 3 face which is compelely different.  Not sure how thats supposed to help.

Anyway I will look at the other two downloads.

There was a thread dealing with the problematic face import, but I'm not sure any of this helps: http://forum.bioware...or-import-sigh

The import from ME1 to ME2 doesn't seem to generate the proper face code for some reason. That's why it doesn't work for ME3 then. It seems that once in a blue moon you might luck out and have flawless import throughout the whole franchise (My friend did.) but I sure haven't seen that happen in my games.

EDIT: Also, the character will never be 100% the same, even with perfect import. Some features change shape between the games - all three of them. Some more, some less. My Shepard has a different lip shape in each game because they're just not consistent throughout the franchise. Different textures do a lot, as well.
