Whenever I see solo plat runs, and I watch pc players they can finish from 15-25 mins easily. I've never seen xbox or ps3 players finish in around 20 minutes. I know that there's a glitch on the pc where you can run with objectives, what else is there? Or are PC players just that much better?
What are the main differences between PC/Console multiplayer.

You can use the rubberband tactic to farm Platinum money off BSNers on console. It's also boosts BSN popularity by 75%. Folks will mostly talk about you on the forums.

PC players are treated to free molten chocolate cakes every Wednesday at 2:00pm.
Console MP has a tendency to die whenever multiple Praetorians appear, likely because of a lack of said molten chocolate cake.

^ Most games make more sense with a gamepad. Because most started in the Arcade or console. Then PC started to get bigger and PC gamers were too lazy to buy or afford gamepads and decided to make due with alphabet soup typing apparatus... and Doom. Can't forget Doom & the fps boon that started & followed because that's all PC gamers can play. That and last I checked, my two fave online games (ME3mp & Dark Soul 1 & 2) have higher user base on console anyway.
OK, enough expensive beer & DS2 PVP for today for me. Tomorrow I'll tackle world hunger and ME3mp pug credits poverty - all while playing typing of the dead; carpal tunnel edition. LE. With arbook of the most beautiful deformed hands you've ever seen.

The real question ought to be, why they scrapped the whole "I'm having sex and get a glowing red spine" thing in Battlestar Galactica.

LOL OP. Your view of reality is skewed. Why don't you look at the the platinum solo HoF thread. 15-25 min plat solo runs are the best times. Average times run 30+ for even the better players, regardless of PC vs Console. One of the primary reasons you don't see faster console times is due to the fact that it is more difficult to record gameplay on console. But if you look hard enough, you will find some fast console runs too.
Aside from ease of recording, and the already mentioned quality of controls (mouse > gamepad), there are other contributing factors. 1. Framerate. Even low end gaming laptops, like mine can support 60 fps. This further allows more precise aiming, and amplifies the effects of some bugs, like the reegar's damage dependency on framerate. 2. PC players can mod their games. Obvious mods include objectives and FOV, but more subtle mods, like slight damage increases and negation of phantom on-host damage reduction can also be achieved. Of course, if some player was to use such a mod to achieve a record time, it would likely be scrutinized and exposed. 3. PC players can quickly achieve a maxed manifest through the use of credit hacking or other methods.
These reasons all give the edge to PC players, but there are still console players who are very competitve (i.e. can log faster times than 99% of the PC player base).

Your view of reality is clearly skewed. Follow your own advice and compare the times between pc players and console players on the HOF. Guess who has the far faster times? Also go to youtube and type in mass effect 3 platinum run, and you'll see that most pc uploads are from 12-25 mins. I'm obviously talking about the best players who upload, not your average joe or someone who is above average. Sure it's harder to record for console players, but I have not seen ONE console player get close to 20 minutes, while you can easily find a ton of 12-25 runs for the PC. Go ahead and post a link of a console player doing a run in 20 minutes if you can find one.

Like everything in life I will compare this to porn.
PC is like amateur porn, in that its what the hipsters watch, the sex is more realistic and it feels more real with not as much **** to get in the way, fake moaning, bad plots.
Console is more like professional porn, fake ******, fake moaning, more unless junk you really dont need, its what most people who dont get laid watch, they dont know any better and its all so hot and exciting.

I swear to god I was thinking the exact same thing. I went in and had to check PS3 Collector solo's but apparently it's been done.
*Wonders if the PS Collectors bug has been exaggerated.*

The only platinum runs worth posting are unique. Such as fast or modded or themed. Boring runs arent uploaded because nobody will watch them.
Not true, most console runs that have a lot of views are around 35mins to 1 hour.

On a side note, I've played with you hosting twice and I swear you're using two tin cans and a string to connect. The only benefit was I got to see my volsent rubber band three rooms away then roll down a ramp.
That was good times.
Actually, GG mate. That was good times.

Haha, "you are a loser", is that the best insult you can come up with you autistic virgin? It's pretty much fact that pc players have a FAR better plat solo time on average.
Again, you're an idiot. There's no point in continuing this conversation. The players on this forum know who the good console players are, and know that their times are comparable with the times of good PC players, subject to the handicaps already mentioned.
