Unlikely.  An alt would open with humor, not just blatant ignorance.  The dead giveaway was: "easily" solo plat in 15-25 minutes.

 

An alt that actually has experience playing this game (not just posting for the sake of posting), would never say something so blatantly ignorant.

First I'm not an alt, and I've solo-ed plat several times.  I see comprehension is clearly not your strong point.  When I say easily, I'm not saying soloing plat 15-25 mins is easy, I'm saying it's clearly easy for the top players and not unusual for pc players to solo within 15-25 since you can find 100s of videos of players doing so. The fact that you're assuming that I'm not experienced in playing this game because you lack comprehension skills just shows your ignorance.

I wasn't trying to troll at all, I was genuinely curious on what all the differences were.  If you noticed I wasn't the one that started to make this thread trolly, other posts were, I was just playing along.

You're a little too self-confident and agressive for a noob, OP. Unless you're someone having fun with an alt. I will nevertheless answer on topic.

 

First of all, you're wrong. The average time for solos in the platinum hall of fame is actually very close for PC and PS3, a little under 50 minutes (XBox is admittedly slower). Besides, there is only a very little number of PC players who can consistenly solo plat under 30 minutes, and even less  under 25 minutes. As for sub-20 solos, they are very rare, only 5-6 PC players have managed such a performance. Saying that PC players can "easily" solo plat in 15-25 minutes is extremely exaggerated.

 

Concerning the advantages of PC for solos, they are numerous. Here's a list of them, including only "legit" advantages :

 

-Higher frames = better enemies' moves decomposition ;

-Mouse = more precise aiming and a better ratio of headshots, which leads to higher dps and less repositioning. This by itself cuts a lot of time ;

-Objectives modding ;

-Pizzas running ;

-Credits glitching = unlimited supply of consumables = use of optimal equipement and builds ; 

-Better Reegar ;

-Faster loading time.

I love how all the virgins go to the "you're a noob", insult even though you've never seen me play.  Because I haven't calculated the average times of ps3/pc players for solo runs I'm a noob    , you make me laugh.  Should have expected this level of virginity from someone with thousands of posts    .

Pc has:

 

-Better controlls. Mouse/keyboard, and fps related

-More dmg on some guns like the reegar cos of the fps

-Shorter loading times.

-The abilty to give themself unlimited creds or consumables, makeing the grind for better times much easier.

-The abilty to mod objectives, and then run the pizzas at full speed. Console run is a half sprint at best, and i know, cos i can do it.

 

It`s worth taking note of what loufi said about avarage time in the HOF. They are close between pc and ps3, with xbox just a litle behind.

 

And pls keep in mind that a large amount of the fastes pc solos, as in the sub 20`s are modded for objectives. 3x pizzas on pc will save you atleast 6 min (and that is a my minimum estimate) compared to other objectives or even pizzas on console.

 

The frustration of grinding objectives on console, combined with the fact that it eats you top level gear at an alarming rate, is annoying.

So it`s much easier on the mind when you can take the grind out, like you can on pc.

 

A combination of these things are the reason that almost all 2x:xx or sub 20`s are on pc.

This was actually the only response I was looking for. If you actually followed the thread you would notice it started off with other people making trolly comments, and then bloodbeforevirginity throwing out the insults.  Most of my plat solo runs have taken 45 minutes+ and I'm actually on the ps3, not even on pc. I was just playing along with the PC players because I found their comments funny, and I also did believe PC players were far better since I've seen so many 15-25 min runs, while I saw the first 20 minutes run on the ps3 today.  I guess I'm a noob though since i wasn't aware that ps3 players have done 20 min runs    .  If the virgins says so it must be true.

Yeah, the psychological aspect is also important. Speedrunning comes with too much frustration on consoles.

Answering what? You gave me information I wasn't aware about, and I read it.  I didnt know that the PC/Ps3 times were similar.  I didnt calculate them all, but I merely browsed through most, and the majority that were 30 mins or below were on the PC.

Who said I was saying that it was the larger body of solos?  See this is where your comprehension skills fail.  I was clearly referencing the top players, just like I was referencing the top ps3 players. My point was merely I see that it's FAR more common for the good pc players to get from 15-25 mins, while I BARELY see any ps3 players get to even 20. The video you showed me was actually the first one I've seen.  I'd like to see other examples too, and different classes being played, because I've seen 15-25 min runs played on multiple classes on the PC.
