I havnt had a chance to play in a week and when I logged in and was looking through the challenges I noticed that book 2 is fine and I've reverted back to book 1. Does your book progress get reset if you skip a weekend challenge or something? The book 1 in my inventory is already maxed out so I can't earn any more stars there, and I only received the victory chest for PS4 completion when I checked the store.

Anyone got any ideas what happened?

Book 2 is done, so if you didn't do last week's challenge, it's gone.

Which sucks because I was 4/5 for book 2 and was gone for the weekend, so I missed what turned out to be the only chest worth anything out of the last 2 books.

Yeah that's kinda rediculous, I've hit every target for weeks but had to go out of town and do a ton of school work so I miss out on the real goal? Why wouldn't they just let people finish at their own pace and 5 completions in however long it takes gets you the reward. That just really pisses me off when developers do things like that, people who have lives outside of gaming get screwed over, for what reason? What difference does it make if you complete 5 events in 5 weeks, or 6 weeks, or 10 weeks.

It is what it is.

Also, the rewards were drakescale armours, which you'll get anyway when you finish the "Experienced (class)" challenges, so you're not missing much, just possibly delaying it a bit.

If you have an active life outside of the game, you shouldn't be all that bothered by missing an event here and there.

1,000,000 experience is a bit?

Ok, more than a bit, but pretty much the text book example of a challenge you can do at your own page, which op wanted.

Missing an event here and there is fine, I've missed plenty. Losing out on something you go out of your way to do every weekend because you can't get away from life for a couple hours sucks. Seeing my challenges go from book 1 to book 3 makes the completionist in me start counting to 10 over and over hoping it magically resets.
