I've just discovered my game hub says this is my 'most damage from a blow in single player'. It doesn't tell me how or when I did it.

 

My question is: how the hell could I have done that much damage from a single blow?

Pincushion, fulldrawn, high critical damage, good attack %, good armor penetration, and you can pull off insane burst damage. Deathblow can give of pretty high numbers. Highest I've done was 65,734. Not including triggering mark of death before it expires. Highest trigger I've done was 219,880. The mark wasn't flashing so I could have done a little better.

And they say mages are dangerous ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Where do you see these?

I believe on the xbone you can compare game stats with friends like how many enemies youve killed, highest single blow damage, coin collected..

Do you know if there's an equivalent on PC?

What class? Or you don't know because you just get one number for your whole account?

 

The usual source of that level of damage is an Assassin with Mark of Death, charged by the rest of your companions with Thousand Cuts, Wrath of Heaven/Spell Purge, Fire Mine, Earthshaking Strike, MO tonic, some favorable vulnerabilites and passives, and most likely a combo detonator or three.

Yeah, it doesn't tell me which character did it. I have an assassin archer, so the mark of death/deathblow/high crit/etc. combo seems likely. Though I've never used tonics, so that's out of the mix.

 

I also don't know which enemy it was, though I assume it was either a dragon or Corypheus because how many others have >45k hp? I do remember being surprised at how quickly Corypheus went down.
