Just wondering if there's any other way they decide that your that lucky person. I know it's 15% for first, 7% for second and they get lower. I have 1 hakkon (the bow) and I have done 145 nightmare runs. 2 of them were normal runs. The rest were dragons. Out of the group I run with (100+ nm games) we have had 1 drop which was a great sword.This what his first hakkon by the way and only got it after 40 something runs. This rate sucks, and what makes it worse is the fact that they shove grey items or runes in ur face every chance they get.I would rather take extra gold then getting another lesser,superb rune or lv 12 common. Is my luck really that bad or dose this happen to everyone? I know there's a certain % to get one, but is that for the total amount of games you've played or just for that round?

Working as intended.

 

Someone had them all in 27 runs.  Someone is 500+ runs and does not have them all.  RNG.

Yea I know most people who was able to play during the first 2 weeks got them all really fast and I'll admit I'm jealous, but 500 plus games and still looking, sounds like your right. Working as intended.

Yeah I know RNG and all but why in 1.09 I got both hakkons in 5 games(first was in first game!!) and than 1.10 came 50 runs and NOTHING AT ALL(only grey trash)

No clue, but I know if I run out of runes all I have to do is run a nm dragon

I started to play NM very late when drop rate was already "fixed",but it took me 60 runs to get all of them.

Plus,I got another dagger from treasure chest(store).Maybe I am in high loot bucket'

Took me 181 runs to get the weapons.   I am at 205 now but I still do not have the amulet.

I have all the new lv 26 besides the shield, I should be in high loot bucket, or I hope with me having gained 2m+ gold. We always open doors or we try to even when I first started. So Imma assume I'm in top loot bucket. Haven't seen a good weapon from the chest in about a month

Didn't Luke say there is a low level lock out of getting Hakkon weapons... I am wondering what that is because my friend hasn't got one yet and he's been grinding for a while. 

 

IMHO if they can do the content and survive to the end the rewards should be available to all. 

 

If it's 150/150/150 promotes then that's reaching a bit too high as some regions have to solo most of their content, so their progression is slower.

Not to get them off dragons, I think that one is quite low. To get them from chests, quite high but possibly not top bucket, but as I'm nowhere near the top bucket I haven't looked into that one too closely.

I think this is correct.

 

I think there is a difference between dragon drops and chest drops.

 

Dragon:

1.  Much lower loot threshold to get Hakkon drops.

2.  Checks for duplicates before giving you a drop.  

3.  Decreasing chances to get one for each one you have (15%, 7%, etc.  Not sure if numbers are exact)

4.  In some cases, dragon weapons and level 26 items I believe, you have to have the blue version before the purple version will drop.

 

Chest: 

1.  To get Hakkon, have to be in the highest loot tier, much higher than from dragons.

2.  Does not check for duplicates.

3.  Is a static chance.  Once you are in the top loot tier, I believe its a 10% chance to get into the bucket that has the Hakkon weapons in them, then a 1% chance of actually getting a specific Hakkon.

4.  I do not believe that chests check for the blue version before awarding the purple.

 

I am not sure if the exact percentages are right, but they should be close.  Otherwise, I think these are the major differences on how they operate.

I had all Hakkons weapon after 140 NM runs. Then buy second H dagger in shop. I think you can't buy H in shop, only drop from NM/HP dragons & from chest for ivents! Besides second dagger...

It's common. In fact you may be in for a long wait.

Some have had it lucky but thats it..... luck.

All weapons in the game are in the shop chests.

Even the Crescent Shadow.....once you have all the pre reqs.
