trust me, t. was the last dlc for sp and i ll be very surprised if we get some more "patches" for mp. life cycle of this game is over m8.

All it is gonna do is give a discounted price for the game and dlc...I doubt we will get any extra...well I guess I'll try to see what the "real world" has to offer my life

GoTY is usually just a discount offer on buying all content for a game after it's done. It doesn't really affect multiplayer though since these updates are free.

Interestingly it does provide a opportunity for more players into MP so perhaps Luke has to squeeze some more drama out of his tiny budget

The MP team is obviously still working on the game.

They will not tell us specifically what they are doing, because they don't want to overbpromise and under deliver.

When they are done supporting the game, they will tell us here, and likely go out with a bang. Some type of event.

In the meantime, I am sure they are using whatever time and resource for new content that thy have to try and do what they can.

The schedule of these DLC releases was so compacted.  The time between Descent and Trespasser, and between Trespasser and the GOTY edition, was extremely short, the shortest I can recall for these types of releases.  Trespasser especially felt rushed out (for example, no splash screen at the main menu, like Descent had).  All of this suggests that sales of the SP DLCs were probably not good, and Bioware is trying to strike while the iron is still somewhat hot and before all interest evaporates.

Yeah, I'm sitting around a lowly 750 prestige.  I flirted with the outer cusp of the leader board back in March, but just don't have enough time to play that much.  Flattered you thought I was a good enough player to look for me there though

And maybe even after the end of support has been officially announced, Luke worked on a script that will automatically give Spirit Blade random new properties each friday. So he will always be with us, in spirit.

Typical, have to buy the DLC for something that was created for release but take out in order to make more money.

I got the two expansion packs for LIFE.

 

1st expansion is 9 years old, the other more recent content has been out 8 months now and still not tired of it.

Dragon Age Origins - Game of the Year or Ultimate Edition whatever is what got me into this franchise. Copped that thing for pennies used and it had all the DLC + Expansions.

 

I will always wait for these versions for DLC.
